What would happen is those who want to go to a handful of games in the season would get one and there would be none left for general sale. Then these people wouldnt go to most games and there will be empty seats all over the place.
-
Yeah thanks for that story.
-
I remember this bloke sitting next to me was getting irate coz he was with his grandson and there were metal bits coming out of the ground due to seats being removed. I also remember Brighton fans singing "you'll never fill your new ground" - tools. Didnt that game finish early coz it was all getting out of hand and fans were running on to the pitch before the game had finished.

For me it was Huddersfield v Walsall game which ended it for us. At the 90 minute point of that game we were in touching distance of the play offs then they scored 2 in injury time which gave them a platform.
-
I apologize. Associating this group of people with that lot down the road is not fair on them.
-
..... and we owe them one (or 2)
-
On that Brighton game, this lad next to me brought a full tool kit. I took the opportunity to carefully dismantle my seat which I did. It's in the loft right now.

Given their cr*p performance in the play off semi's, is anyone else slightly annoyed that they wasted their play off spot. If they had experienced that same form in the final 6/7 games of the regular season, we would have been in the play offs and done far better.

Yes if he wants his dog to get rabies.

I remember this chap at college who had the old kit with Draper Tools at the front. He removed the first and last letter from Draper and the last letter from tools. He got sent home and indeed felt like a tool.

Yeah Burley lost out on the away goals rule then campaigned for it to be changed. Then he benefited from that change as Ipswich beat Bolton in the play off semi in 2000 after extra time. An away goals rule would have seen them go out in normal time. It then went against him in 2007. c*nt.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Various figures with past associations to the Club have been quick to voice their opinions, among them a long time former manager, and former players, one of whom was associated with a so-called consortium which delayed for an important few weeks last summer our plans to stabilise the Club. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOT SURE A DIG AT MLT IS NECESSARY !! Other than, very reassuring. Roll on next season.

Why is this thread called "for fans of Le Tissier" when only 18 people have posted on it. Worrying.
-
Now we know who is in the Playoffs, who do you want to go up?
bender replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
At the beginning of the season everyone was talking about this league being at an all time strength with the inclusion of Charlton, Norwich, Leeds and of course Saints. Charlton go up and were the only one left out of those 4. Kinda leaves us in a great position for next season. -

I live in Brighton and all my mates are Brighton fans. Priceless.

Cant someone just ask the assistant what is going to go on those rails
-
He only joined us to get back at Milan Manderic. The appointment just didnt seem right to me. Almost too good to be true.
-
That was f*cking freezing. and we didnt play that well despite starting well.
-
"believed to have upset Cortese" ?? where has this come from. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1271478/Southampton-boss-Alan-Pardew-fighting-job-failure-reach-playoffs.html

Talk of investment?? Thats what we said 3 years ago - remember Paul Allen gate. We are in a different league from SWFC in terms of ££ This season weve had Norwich, Leeds and Charlton to contend with, and lets face it they could all go up. Replace them with Plymouth, Posh, and SWFC and weve got far less competitors. Saints never start well but by October/November we'll be top and thats where we'll stay.
-
back up for Lambert?? Surely he would want 1st team football having already wasted a large part of his career in the slammer.
-
I thought AP said he wanted to look back at the end of the season and say we would have been promoted were it not for the minus ten. In which case, why have we fielded this side?
