That might be the year I went to Ayia Napa which was 2000. He was there with Beattie, Kachloul, Dean Richards (RIP) and Gary Monk. I had no idea who Gary Monk was as he wasnt a regular and tended to ignore him.

Here are some vids from my seat. When we made in 1-0, a big bunch of them got very upset with a handful of Saints fans and tried to get over and kick off. I think some of our fans were antagonizing them though.

Mcloughlin it definitely was in the 89/90 season. Mcloughlin had played against the Saints earlier that season in a 4th round tie in the Rumbelows cup. Saints trailed 2 nil at half time in that game but Horne it was who got one back at the beginning of the 2nd half. Paul Rideout netted our equaliser 5 mins from the end and Le Tissier took over in extra time. Saints lost out in the next round to the cheating plastic pitchians Oldham Athletic and many years later McLoughlin dropped down a division to play for the Skates.

Just been on the ticketing website to get tickets for the home game. Anyone else having problems? If I click on this game, it goes nowhere.

Anyone else think the best thing about this is getting one over Stoke ?

I've currently got a login for tickets with 2 friends as my 'friends and family.' If I get a membership would I only be able to get priority for me? It seems unless I pay £75 for 3 memberships, I'll only be able to buy one ticket then 2 more later when they go on general.

I would say your experience depends on your method of transport. I've been to Stoke the last two years and think it's a great day out. Get off the train, the police point you to a decent pub, then there are coaches running from the pub to the ground. It's the same in reverse after the game. That said, if I was to drive and park near the ground, there wouldnt be much. I cant see how anyone would be able to get a table at the Harvester and it seemed that was all that was there.

But from a distance it looks the same except for the Adidas stripes.

This. Cant remember the last time there was a shirt so similar to the previous. Its still stripes, same width of stripes, same sponsor, even both a solid red arm. From a distance the only difference you'll see is the Adidas 3 white stripes on the arm.

Went to The Terrace last year before the game. Short walk to it and buses from it taking us to the ground. Think I'll do the same on Saturday. Last year I just asked the police at the station and they pointed me to the direction of said boozer.

It will be a huge victory for the game if they go up. I remember when Wimbledon went down in 2000 they said this kind of thing will never happen again. Well it is.

Remember feeling horrendous after that game. One of the worst games Ive been to.

All my soccer streaming prayers have been answered by streaming all 5 TSN channels into VLC player. I even have them streaming from my media server (serviio) to my smart TV. I even have VLC installed on my iPad and was watching the game whilst at the game yesterday via 4G. There was a one minute lag so every time there was a near miss, I replayed it on my iPad. And this is all in full HD !!

I'm confused. So if Villa lose in the Final to Arsenal, they dont get the Wafer cup place and 7th place does? I thought it needed to be a Arsenal Liverpool final, otherwise the runner up of the cup gets the place.

I've been using Xbmc on my Andriod phone, Windows laptop and Raspberry Pi for a while and there have been some pretty good add-ins, namely Mashup and NaviX. They work for a while and in the end they're just unreliable. I tend to go back to http://www.eplsite.com for my Prem action. I tried adding this add-in as per post 1 above and again it seemed to work for the Saints game yesterday but was so unreliable for the Man Utd game. But I've added these streams from post 20 above into my VLC player and they seem promising. Looking forward to trying those link when a game is on. I just opened up VLC player, chose View - playlist - Media Library - Advanced Open - Network - Enter URL and Enqueue .

I reckon youll be able to get a ticket on general sale if you get them reasonably quickly. WBA tickets sold out but not before they were on general for a few days. Got tickets for Stoke pretty easily last season.
