  1. I just really want a wembley day out which is one game away if we win next Saturday.
  2. In which case they probably are worth the paper on which they are printed.
  3. Win at Sunderland. Just one win away from wembley after that and there will deffo be at least 2 non prem teams in the 1/4 final.
  4. Decent real ale and pies would also help.
  5. As will the Brighton if they get up to the Prem.
  6. Its not as if we didnt have a massive period of application planning. The problem is where it was. Basically it's set into the ground. There was much more prep work than ours. Also you only have to look at the design of it to see it would be more expensive to construct.
  7. I know Tony Bloom has got a few quid so I wonder how long he'll continue losing his own money. SMS cost a fraction of what their ground cost. If he does ever pull out, theyre in trouble. Its not as if theyve been spending massive money on players too.
  8. TBH it's a relatively good way to die. Your team scores against ManUre. Good innings also.
  9. surely the lower leagues are league 1 and 2, not the champs
  10. Does anyone remember who our owners were when SISU were sniffing around us? Coz unlike Cov's previous owner, ours decided these guys were not a good idea for the club. We should be commending Wilde & co (if it was them) for telling SISU where to go surely.
  11. Just heard this on BBC sport. Confirmed on SSN. Gary Monk you say? I remember in 2000 going to Ayia Napa and spending loads of time chatting to Keven Davies, James BT, Dean Richards (RIP) and Hassan Kachloul. Monk was there although I had no idea he was a Saints player.
  12. This. Players with pony tails should automatically start games with a yellow card.
  13. The £43 I just spent on my Wham ticket might well be worth it. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1704544/west-ham-striker-andy-carroll-appeal-rejected-football-association?cc=5739 "The three-match suspension rules Carroll out for the rest of February, when West Ham face Aston Villa, Norwich and Southampton."
  14. Also, my first ever game at the Dell was 8-2 in 84. Whats more, my step mum was friends with Joyn Poynton who was the Cov chairman in 87 and I met him a week before they won the cup.
  15. There's no need to come in peace. We dont exactly have any beef with Cov. I for one always saw Cov as a sister club. Same year-on-year fight against relegation, same Denmark replica kit between 87 and 89, same solitary FA cup win, similar fanbase size etc etc. Anyway, signed.

    West Ham away

Exactly. Are people refusing to pay £42 when they would have been happy to pay £35, meaning of course the day out costs say £87 instead of £80 (including travel, food, beer etc)

    West Ham away

Most other London games don't even seem to get as far to being on general sale.
  18. Anyone know how many tickets we've sold? I went online this morning and had to wait 45 mins in the Q to get my ticket. Surprised it's not sold out.
  19. Just got my ticket. In a way I'm pleased they were £42. It would have been already sold out otherwise.
  20. It's amazing to think how superior we are to so many teams in this league, when a few years ago we envied these lower half Prem teams.
  21. Does anyone know how many tix are left. I'm not an ST holder so it's 9am for me tomorrow.
  22. So we don't charge Wham fans that much at SMS then?
  23. If Wham were in the cup, his return would be our game. But they're not so their encounter with us will be his final ban.
  24. Travelling Saints fans have been awesome for me. Def played their part.
  25. Sorry could someone remind me of our solitary signing in the same window a year ago?
