Is there any danger of Rickie going to Liverpool?
bender replied to Brave Sir Robin's topic in The Saints
Liverpool would not pay big money for a player with only a year or two left of prolific goal scoring ability. The only way would be for Rickie to moan & moan to go giving us no choice but to sell. Absolutely no chance of that happening given his clear loyalty and professional attitude. Really excited about the coming season though. Rickie's going to be on fire with the thought of a genuine chance to play in the WC next summer -
Is my 2 year old (Nearly 3) too young to take to te footie.

I started taking my twins (one at a time) to games last season. They will be 5 this Oct and so were not even 4 at the beginning of last season. My girl twin was fine. She loved the day out with her Dad. Sure enough I bought some sweets for the game but by in large she loved it. Especially when we scored. There were times at the end of each half when she got a bit bored but she just put her thumb in her mouth and lent on me. She gets so excited about the thought of going to football with me. The boy twin was a mare though. Liked some of it but once he got bored that was it. Ended up spending a lot of the game trying to sort him out in the concourse. 2 pieces of advice: 1. Go in the family corner - its free for nippers for most games and more tolerant of kids playing up. 2. If we score, dont celebrate leaving him/her sitting down. Pick the child up and jump up and down. -
Still got mine on my V+ box. Regularly play back that 4th goal. Love the way the commentator says "southampton are going up" and watching the Chapel end celebrate. Never forgive my mum for throwing my grannys 90th party on that day.

I dont want us to get into Europe. Its a pants competition and a drain on players. -
I'm pleased. We usually lose on telly.

I got my shirt for my 40th yesterday, obviously with 40 and my surname on the back. I like the shirt. It's a nice shade of red that goes well with the gold. My only gripe with the kit is that they have taken away our black shorts. Between 80 and 89 we didnt have stripes but we've always had black shorts.

"Arsenal’s avowed grand investment plans are still to materialise, and Evertonians will inform you that David Moyes will not be rushed into making any hasty acquisitions." Who is this guy??

We do realise dont we that we could all pop to Kenya for our holidays and buy fake Saints shirts for the cost of a packet of crisps.

Who here get PL badges when they get their replica shirt?

Figure if your gonna get the same kit as the players, you might as well get the badges. Only a £1 each ere. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Premier-league-patches/271218951798

Thats a different red than ours and a slightly different design. It's the same as Bristol City's though. It's not exactly a new idea for manufacturers to sell replica shirts at high prices. Its been happening since the 80's

You're at college and you've got a nipper old enough to go to school?
-
TBF, it is a darker shirt and it's different under the arms. But Bristol City cant be happy.
-
Me too by Lucy Pinder, and she must be wearing nothing but the shirt, oh and it must be in the flesh too, not a picture. Lastly she will need to be tugging me off whilst wearing it. Only then will I buy it.

Obviously Heinz then.

Anyone else think that whoever uploaded that link did so buy buying that top, taking a blurred picture of it then edited the digital image.

Point is once the season will start, all we'll care about is the football.

But I like the idea of a gold AAP logo even if it was put on there almost by accident. We wont be complaining if we have a successful season in this shirt rather than a crap season in a shirt we all prefer.
