Here's me at my first ever Saints game - in the home game at Brighton.

Cant believe it's 25 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was nearly 16 at the time and loved the middle back of the Milton Road. If I was a Liverpool fan it would have been exactly that area of Hillsborough I would have gone for. We were the first team to score that afternoon. See 3:51 below.

F U C K this season. It's over and pointless.

If Pardew had s hagged that Hull players wife, that would have been a better clue.

Lambert is a true Saints legend. In 4 successive seasons he was instrumental in: 1. winning the JPT 2. Promotion to the Championship. 3. Promotion to the Prem. 4. Keeping us in the prem. You only have to go back 3 games to remember that free kick against Stoke - brilliant goal. But since that cup exit our season has just gone stale. A few players have dropped form and IMO why not chop and change a bit. Drop him for one game and he'll come back stronger in the next.

At the start we were tipped for a top half finish and that what we'll get. What else did anyone expect? It' the cup exits that have ruined it for me. I'm watching Hull v Brighton right now. We are far better than both these teams and should have cruised past Sunderland reserves. Thats the big shame of this season.

Just checked it out. He came on as a sub for Tevez in the 92nd minute at the weekend. Obviously tearing the Italian league apart.

I hate West Ham. Missed our first goal because even though I followed signs to the right stand I was then redirected to go a different way by stewards. Terrible area, terrible club, terrible style of football. We were far better than them but they won because of there style of football and their ability to know where to put the ball to be effective.

I can actually see tw atenberg giving us a decision or 2 based on his pen mistake at Goodison. Perhaps an undeserved pen in the last minute.

TBF to MP he did make a few changes but looking at the bench he was clearly seeing the opportunity to change if things werent going well. And he did just that, but for me the changes should have been at half time.

Some of us are fuming, some are not. It's quite simple really - for those of us old to be football fans in the 80's and perhaps early 90's, we feel the passion for the cup. I for one was getting really excited about taking my daughter to Wembley and it seemed so likely, almost on a plate. Yes we made less changes than Sunderland but MP should have put his full team out, then if we were comfortably winning maybe then replace a few regulars. Feel unbelievably let down by MP for not taking the cup seriously. Given the amount of money in the PL now, the cup is now much more of a mere bonus competition. A bonus which is almost an extra gift for the fans. MP had no respect for that.
