West ham would have won the league weeks ago....
Noodles34 replied to terry hurlock's topic in The Saints
do me a favour! what is this obsession with some of our lot thinking the at WHU are about to implode? Is it jealously that they have not gone on such a poor run as we did over Dec/Jan? Do you think they are owed that? I think they actually do better away and are probably more nervous at home because of their supporters. I have no doubt whatsoever that they will be promoted auto, there's only 3 teams in it and they have the strongest squad on paper by far. -
cool, one and a half hours to come up with that one... can i borrow your book sometime?
-
yeah, how did you know that?
-
Yes, utter ****e, maybe you want to go down and get a shirt while you are at it, even better turn up tonight in one and declare this 'superiority' ******** to veryone around you.
-
are you generally like this in everyday life?
-
The older generation in a non football sense, fine, thats their choice. Us, as football fans, reinforcing superiority?? I dont think we need to do that, youmake it sound like a game of polo ffs!
-
Two things: Why do people think it is worthwhile, as a Saints fan to engage with them on their forum. I have a look from time to time, but to get into conversations etc. that StuRomseySaint, what a knob! Might as well be one of them, isnt he a Nick illingworth wannabee anyway? And the other. Why are we calling them Pompey? Its their ****ing nickname ffs, do you think they call us Saints? They should be known as either Portsmouth or better still, 'the lot down the road', Pompey, about as cringeworthy as Bompey!
-
they have it wrapped up as much as we do, thats my point really, people on here go "yeah, saints are going up etc" and then dismiss a team thats gone to two rivals and beaten each of them by two goals ffs. Yeah, they drew the palace, we lost to Bristol....
-
at what point did he say that? West Ham are a ****ing certainty, once people get used to that then maybe we can concentrate on Saints going up. God, the people on here are a right bunch of knobs sometimes, cant see beyond red and white stripes, i mean, our away win at Leeds was better someone said!!! How? The way we played or the fact that Leeds have lost half their home games anyway and Cardiff are about 5 or 6 points behind them!!
-
can someone help me please? Everytime i go for a stream i always seem to be asked to download some video player etc (which i am always dubious about tbh), and it still doesnt work. i have a pretty modern pc etc, and other people tell me that i should just get straight on, any advice??
-
love it when people think gd is worth an extra point, its not if you finish one point behind in third.
-
OMG, there are some right idiots on here who clearly know FA about football!
-
get a grip! You take this seriously, Jeez...
-
Brighton, public park, sitting next to another bloke..... dont think thats a football related dream mate!
-
Jesus, Take your red and white tinted specs off and ask; what would you have done in his shoes?
-
are you Kerry Dixon?
-
Last night I dreamed that Saints were in the World Club Cup, I was in Australia and it was in Italy, we beat Man Utd in the semi but lost to Liverpool in the final, bizarre (how did 3 English teams get in?)
-
Cue, a load of anti Illingsworth posts saying "he dont speak for us..."
-
what do we do differently? We're football fans, its not a class system.
-
brilliant game, Saints won 4-0!!!
-
There seems to be a lot to your 'story' that doesn't add up..
-
then what happened?
-
at home maybe, reckon we can win them all, and pick up a few points away and yeah, we will do it.

Its not about money (in general, of course in individual cases it may well be), as previously pointed out, there has been a recession for some time now. Its about Saints playing **** and not getting results and about it being cold. You cant count the CP game, it was Boxing Day, yet when we were playing WHU and Brighton we were flying. We might still have been second but everyone knows we have been crap from Blackpool to the 1st half against Cardiff, couple that with some cold days and nights that stop the 'turn up if we are winning' brigade (which is probably around 5000) and you get these disappointing attendances. I reckon if we win today the gates will start getting back to 30k.
