  1. why are we talking about this?
  2. we have lost much better players than him before, and as always, we will just carry on. Unless you Utd, Chelsea or City, you are a selling club, Jesus, even Utd had to sell Ronaldo!
  3. think it did the job though? After that publicity etc. his position became untenable, obviously along with the SISA action too. Fanzines can never take it too far, thats their job!
  4. It wasnt The Ugly Inside with that cover, it was On The March - and of course, they did one or two other decent covers back then!!
  5. strange, sure I saw him walking in Chandlers Ford just a few days ago, remember seeing him and thinking "theres that old guy that used to run The Dell car park, still going then!"
  6. classic mate! You should write for the new Fanzine, it is lacking a lot of this.
  7. classic! This guy should be on a stage!
  8. good one, lost on here it seems!
  9. yeah, ring up
  10. does ours look much different to the others? we just had a lot more ground to make up, as usual.
  11. If you run a company and want or need to inject capital into it, then you would do it as a directors loan. Why would just put in a load of money with no comeback? Its all about tax and selling the club in the future etc, etc. Directors loans only amount to an issue when the owner wants to get out, which is exactly what happened down the road. Look what SFC have got in assetts compared to PFC, trhere is no comparrison. I can't see any issue with directors loans, and NC was never going to go into DL details to a ****ing fans forum, we are effectively debt free until we need to be sold.
  12. yeah, it is terrible at SMS, everywhere else you are straight in the car and away and usually home in half an hour, SMS is **** isn't it!
  13. he's no better than Naythan Dyer at the moment, maybe he might be good, I personally (on what i have seen so far) would have taken the 10m (if offered as full cash payment etc, with a 10% sell on fee) and chanced the fact that he'll be average. At the same time, well done Cortese for not selling at the first opportunity (not seen that happen for a long time).
  14. Lowe & Oliver Ltd, still trading, makes me sick to see his name on the vans!
  15. it was all tied up with the Walcott deal, Arsenal have 1st option should they ever want to exercise it. Wenger knows that he could be a great player, wasted in this division mind, though we are starting to see the signs, pleany of time to see how he really develops but if we dont go up, I would imagine he will move back to france.
  16. I'm in 45, never done it, too good an opportunity to be missed i reckon
  17. Whether the leaguie is weaker or stronger, one thing is for sure; if there is a godforsaken Tuesday night away game, Saints will **** it up!
  18. sorry, you forgot to mention your "Man Utd - Barcelona" theory
  19. don't know, are you? i probably will, specially if its live on Sky
  20. Is this for real? Or are you drunk/drugged?
  21. I got M777 SFC (a hat trick from Matty) paid about 200 quid i think inc the DVLA fee etc better than your name i reckon, specially if you can't even afford to do your name properly!
  22. Like Plymouth will be around to play it...!
  23. says he mostly dislikes 'lazy people who cant be arsed to do something themselves, when told what do do'. hope that helps
  24. but like someone said, the rebound miss was terrible, he was obviously stunned (literally) by the save. I was right behind the goal in The Archers, couldn't believe it, but maybe it took the pressure off all others he took after ?
  25. You know, Cortese hasn't really said anything, thats one thing about the guy, he makes his decisions and the only fuss seemingly coming, is from from other people. He has every right to make whatever decsion he wants, may not always be the best or right one but, you live and die by the sword. I am going on Sunday and really looking foreward to it, but I really think that whatever they think now, and as great and passionate the were about saints, its time for them to leave it. They are (a great) history but we are moving on, and you can almost smell their bitterness sometimes, and that is really sad. I want to remember Matty and Franny as legends, not what they are becoming. At the end of the day its the fans' that will untimately decide of Cortese is making the right decisions, as they did with Lowe, and as what happened with Lowe, if the fans don't like it then it ain't going to happen. So we really dont need the likes of Matty and co slagging off the club every five minutes, and Sunday will be a sad night if it turns into a club bashing exercise.
