Still not funny the 4th time?

"What ho young secretary girl, its Lowe here, can you put one through to Kim please.... MICHAEL STOP SHOOTING THAT GUN, IM ON THE RUDDY PHONE! Sorry about that, is Mr Van Der Waals there? He might be Mr Van De Walles, Im not too sure."
-
Are we sure that is how his name is spelt (both forename and surname)? Kim or Tim (as was hinted at the other day) Van Der Waals or Van de Waals or Van Der Walles or Vandewalles?

How odd....

Phil - Can you find that link on ESPN, the only one I can find it about the PL and Hansons "Hero" thingy which is linked a bit to Hoddle, but not the same thing.
-
Could only afford to have the heating on for 25 mins and Jan got cold.

Phil, I hate to break it to you... now maybe you better sit down and get another bullfrog in... but we dont have Premier League status anymore at Saints.

What does he do for a living at the moment?

lol... Im pretty sure the said ex-manager could easily say his 6 month contract with Saints would no stop his other work, and in fact might well help his other project out no end if he was able to bring some talent with him or form a strong link between the 2 projects... hmmm....
-
There is, of course, a win situation for Lowe in here. Maybe if a certain ex-manager was tempted to come back on a 6 month contract and he managed to save us, Mr Lowe could then easily sit back and say that he KNEW this ex-manager was always the one to help Saints if he hadn't been blocked coming back here in the first place.

Can we get a really cut down text only version for mobile browsing?

Well done Johnny, think before you type...

I take it you have asked all 43 of them personally, yes?

Dont know... EDIT: Found this online "Advertising in national newspapers is extremely expensive. As an example, it costs over £30,000 for a full page colour ad in The Daily Mail. This tends to make it out of reach to smaller businesses."
-
Anyone got the cash to stump up for a full page national newspaper advert detailing the problems at the club and the mismanagement?

would you accept administration if it meant Lowe left?
Pancake replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Too right. No matter how this season ends, the ground swell of discontent will grow over the close season and people can then ignore the old "support the team during the match" idea and put 100% into getting Lowe etc out if they are still here. For me, after reading more and more about administration, I really think it should be avoided at all costs (and yes, I mean player sales etc if needed). If we go in administration there wont be much point in trying to get ANYONE out of Southampton Football Club as Southampton Football Club simply will not exist as it is today. If we stay up and go into administration, we are basically down next season. Same end result as going down this season and going into administration. The ONLY way the club can keep hold of itself is to survive (in football terms) this season and do EVERYTHING it can this summer to avoid administration. Give them the time off to rebuild the team, from the ground up if needed... and for Gods sake, GET A NEW BOARD IN! -
Must have a coffee on match day out of "I heart Saints" mug and breakfast from saints bowl. Hasnt worked at all this season, in fact on the days when Ive gone "Oh ****, whats the use" and used a different mug and bowl, we have won...hmmm....

Ok,a nd this might sound daft (bear in mind Im an IT nerd and dont really care about finances) but would they generate the money for the HMRC buy selling off whatever they could? Basically, what I want to know if, if we went into admin and owed HMRC, lets say, £5 Million... Lowe/Wilde/Crouch etc wouldnt be liable for this out of their own coffers, meaning the Administrators would HAVE to sell players or property to raise the money?
-
Ken, this is what prompted by other post. Whilst, as you say, for some clubs relegation isnt known until 4.45+ on the last day of the season - the FA/League will need to have a cut off date given for legal reasons I would think. Im currently on the League website but cant find anything set in stone. Might blast some mails off to see what comes up.
-
OK, so here is a question. Assumeing we did go into administration.. WHO is then responsible to paying the HMRC anything we owe them? Does it fall onto the heads of the major shareholders?

Cheers Franky. "Football Related Debts" is an interesting one. I assume this includes such things as outstanding payments on players/coachs, equipement payments, playing staff (inc pensions) and non-playing staff, and gate monies to other clubs etc. I would therefore assume that it DOESNT include things such as the stadium mortgage, catering contracts, utilities, "benefits" such as staff car loans etc.
