  1. TBF he has got a point - if the FA had charged him it would have been a joke.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220690288900&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_500wt_1156 Cane Industries - very solid build quality. One seat and back needs recovering (zip off covers). 2 chairs and 2 matching footstools. All 4 items included in the price. Bargain waiting to be had.
  3. I've made the obvious amendment
  4. Christian O'Connell's breakfast show is my choice - he's a Saints fan. Absolute is the only station I listen to, too.
  5. So, 10 points off the top, 2 off second, 1 off the play offs. This stage last season we were 22 points off top (Leeds were top with 33 points), 18 off 2nd (Charlton had 29) and 11 off the play offs (Bristol Rover had 22). We're not playing to our potential and have had a huge amount of upheaval. I would imagine Lambert will start scoring more and, if needed, we will strengthen in January. This may sound egotistical, but the size of the clubs in L1 this season isn't the same as last season. Can I see Brighton doing a Leeds / Norwich? Nope. Looking good from my perspective.
  6. If you do Plymouth to Southampton then I suspect that would be quite wearing in a 1.4 Ibiza, whereas the Leon would be a much easier drive. Personally, I think I'd find the Ibiza completely gutless. The Leon has the 140bhp diesel which will give it plenty of poke and be pretty economical too. So, Leon for me every time.
  7. Sometimes it's better for people to think you're an idiot rather than start typing and confirm it..... Seriously, if you can't see the difference you must either be incredibly thick or brainwashed
  8. And the punishment would be that the one doing 35 would go to naughty boy school and be fined £74, whereas the one doing 150 would go to the big house.
  9. PFC123....care to respond? Seems to cover it all off quite nicely.
  10. Scary stuff... http://bleacherreport.com/tb/b6DTt
  11. Is it coincidence that picture didn't load?
  12. Balls...knew I was overlooking something
  13. Seriously, ask yourself the question 'Why is Chanrai still involved?'. I think most sane people would think he's involved to get as much as he can out of the club for as little outlay as possible. Parachute payments? Where do you think any CVA excess is actually going to end up? In the club? yeah, dream on.
  14. So doesn't that make it your problem? SS, I'd also say don't do it. A small tattoo is one thing, but a whole sleeve is a different matter altogether. That's not something you can simply cover up in later life.
  15. Yeah, and he's on £20k a week.
  16. Yep, that was him. My view if Oldham was that they pressed quite well and that caused us problems, but they couldn't keep it up for the whole game. They misplaced an awful lot of passes, and gave us chances by losing possession cheaply. Aside from the goal, I can't actually remember them having any other chances.
  17. My place of birth, so would have been good
  18. Yeah, and you'd have to be mental to go! Maybe a Galatasaray v Fenerbahce for afters!
  19. Berlin sounds like a good plan.....

  21. I suspect BC thought he could take the Gaydamaks club as well, on the cheap, and make a load of cash. Alternatively, and maybe more plausible, they could well be working together as part of the deal whereby Gaydamak has to find the cash to pay off BC. So, Gaydamak drives the club into admin, gets some cash out of the club, hands his land over to BC who, with the ground in tow, develops and flogs to the highest bidder. Sure there's a covenant on the ground for sporting use....but if there's no football club.....? Either way, the same end result. Pompey...toast. The question here has always been, why would BC have ever got involved with Pompey in the first place? Either he got mugged off by Storrie's flannel, he thought he could make bucket loads of cash for limited outlay or there's always been an end game like this.

  23. Yep. The fact that they've signed Lawrence and Kitson on mega bucks whilst in admin and under embargo - - smacks of them not having learned from the error of their ways. Football needs a massive boot up the arse. Pompey being the arse being a bonus....every cloud and all that.
