I'd be fairly confident that the Gaydamak debt is to Daddy anyway and, if it's secured, then he's gonna want his pound of flesh. Common sense says that there's no way back as the Gaydamaks need the money and hate BC. Two birds one stone. Gut feel.....it's brinkmanship and a deal will be agreed. The only other factor I can think of is that neither BC or Gaydamak have any emotional ties to Pompey. If one did then you could see a bit of give. However....

I don't think we did. I'm sure that we cashed in on the appearances clause. He was £10m sale with £5m up front and £5m of add ons based on appearances, international caps etc. I'd be confident we didn't cash in on a sell on clause - how would you quantify that in order to cash in? On another matter, he does seem to have some very odd tatts on his legs

Thinking of going to a big European game in a domestic league in the new year. So...couple of questions for any experienced bods out there. Where would be good for footy and a boys weekend? Have been to Ajax v Eindhoven, and quite fancy a Spanish league game - obvious match would be Real Madrid v Barcelona, but tix seem savage on the touts sites. Seriously, it's a simple, simple job that would be comical to ask a plumber to do. Turn a lever off. Turn a screw until the boiler says 2, turn the screw back, turn the lever on. Job done. Only sold all your best players, been relegated, gone from Wembley appearances and Europe to bottom 4 in the Championship, still stuck in the same cesspit ground, no training facilities, 'owned' (sorry, still in Admin, I forgot) by an asset stripping money lender (oddly, there seems to be no other alternative) and still haemorrhaging money every week. How come Pulis is still 'in the game'? He's been a pro since 2003, and in 7 years he has made as total of 28 league appearances for 9 clubs, with no goals. Staggeringly he has still managed 4 Wales U21 caps. Pulis snr must have some unbelievable contacts, as this is the worst case of nepotism I've ever seen.

But is the pot of gold for them personally or are will it be used to pay off the £100m debt? From where I'm sitting, WHU are in a position whereby they're trying to clear their debt. If moving to the Olympic Stadium and developing Upton Park is a way to assist with repaying the debt, then that seems fine to me. If it's to line their pockets, then not fine. At least, in the face of it, they're trying to repay their debts, unlike our fishy friends. Of course relegation could mean admin.......

David Speedie.....surely for the golf club incident Oo Terry Hurlock - drunk driving I think Lee Todd - should have been arrested...his defending was criminal. Not sure if doing a poor impersonation of a footballer is an arrestable offence.
