A cheeky question to the "we're not over Adkins crowd". When will you be over it? If never, how much of each day will you devote to this feeling?

The only way to watch any foreign film, imo. You're robbing yourself of a big part of the performance by going dubbed, and the alien nature of foreign films that makes them so cool in the first place.

I like it a lot. One of my favourite bits is when they meet the diplomats and arse-kissers when they're near France. The level of contempt the viewer has for these men mirrors what the crew think. Very few films make you feel like you've been through the wringer with the characters as much as this one.

Took juvenile unit #2 and me bessie to the Derby game last year. Bit of a jam on the way out of Derby, so we engage my bessie's cheap sh!t sat nav, presumably programmed to crap the pants off the driver. Lordy, what a drive. SSS bends. Sheer drops. 5 series handled it beautifully, although I had to take her through Macclesfield. Another sworn promise broken.

They are very nice cars. I've just been on AutoTrader; there's a Touring version of my motor with apparently only 85K on the clock going for £1.4K. Very tempted; with the amount of driving I do that could basically be a car for the next 10 years. I've heard tell of those engines lasting well into the 230K range.

Yeah, I love it. Dinged her up a bit in the tiny streets of Liverpool, but she's lovely on a run. All things considered, prefer RWD too. Dicey as plums in the cold with the wrong tyres, but very easy to manoeuvre. Reckon it has probs saved my bacon a couple of times. The engines on BMs are very nice. Very little of the work I've had done has been mechanical. Starting motor went last month. That's about it.

Excellent call. Appreciation of that film is a good indicator of whether someone's worth knowing.

I've just watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on Blu Ray for the umpteenth time. Definitely one of my favourite films of all time. Great stuntwork and superbly scored.

Rickie evidently a happy clapper. See the last line about him backing MP to get Saints into the Champions League. I think he clearly needs to be replaced with a less ambitious striker, one that will go missing for half the season and help maintain the long held consensual dream of mid-table mediocrity, dealing out the occasional bloody nose for one of them big teams.

Get yourself a BMW. They run and run = should be able to get a good motor for 3K ( I paid £1K for a 1998 5 series 4 years ago, which is still going ). Think that this thread (or the US TV shows one) already has my feelings on The Wire. First few episodes are hard going unless you've ever slung dope on a Baltimore corner, but after that, you"re golden.
