  1. True, I also forgot the points and results smoothing formula which when applied shows we are over performing and should consider ourselves very fortunate to have the professor of turd polishing as our manager. Silly old dinosaur I am!
  2. Can’t remember us having many chances, one good chance Che missed, so if we’d taken all chances and they theirs it would have been 11 2 or the like, hardly a consolation
  3. Maybe he’ll go in the summer anyway? Given he’s announced his intention to retire in a couple of years it seems unlikely the new owners are going to allow him to become too involved in any rebuild project, assuming that rebuilding is their intention.
  4. He has been dreadful since Villa away, before that he was good, now he is bad, hence regression
  5. You’d think so, but there does seem to have been some kind of undertaking that he plays if fit. I like him, but like a lot of us I think we would be far better with Peraud left and KWP right. I really like Peraud, he’s a good wing back, puts in great crosses but mostly became is a feisty petit mehrd, which we could have done with in yesterday’s embarrassing capitulation. As much as we’ve done it to death, with Elyounussi’s massive drop of we could give him a go on the right of midfield. I think Peraud carried the can for the Villa defeat which is unfair as he was left hopelessly exposed.
  6. It’s possible he has improved them, it’s also possible they have matured and developed naturally, if your going to credit him with the development of players then by extension you can hold him responsible for the players that have regressed under his tenure, for example Redmond, Elyounussi and Djneppo, also his failure to “develop” Peraud into a regular starter. I agree we need more talent in attacking mid, it my point relates to money spent, we tend to hunt for unpolished diamonds, so, when you speak of net spend it’s not the full story, you would be better to look at squad value, we have some players that would command significant transfer fees.
  7. If your ethos is developing talent, as ours is, then the transfer spend is far less relevant, regardless of that, I wouldn’t trust Ralph with with Man City’s squad, it’s still be a wreckit schizophrenic roller coaster.
  8. They were over run yet again due to a dysfunctional midfield, it keeps happening.
  9. Spot on, but somehow his numerous mistakes are forgiven, never understood that
  10. How does Mings get selected for England?
  11. Reverted to form the last five games
  12. Its a shame the "golf course" at Mayflower Park has gone, that would probably have swung it.
  13. I only meant from the point we don’t have to sell, therefore have more control over comings and going’s
  14. I’m not disputing Borja is having a dip, but the whole team is, 1 point from 12 isn’t all on him. During our good run we had a highly functioning midfield, that is not so currently. My belief is that Elyonoussi has seriously dropped off, but we do not have anything in the way of an adequate replacement.
  15. He is a bit wasteful but the quality of opportunities he / they are getting is poor in my humble opinion. There was only a brief period in yesterdays game where we attacked with any pace or incisiveness, which lead to our goal.
  16. The bloke ain’t a “bloke”
  17. True, we have regressed a bit over recent games and strikers are feeding off scraps again. The build up play has become slow and predictable.
  18. I have a feeling he will be off at the end of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if we shipped a few out, it will be refreshing if we have more control over who stays and goes and who we can buy under the new regime.
  19. I loved their “Autobahn” song
  20. Could be the Genesis of new era at the club, although I'll be satisfied if there isn't an Exodus of our best talent.
  21. Excellent, the stand out thing for me from those highlights was how many times he benefited from staying on his feet.
  22. I guess blood loss just doesn't "cut it" as a body part, boom boom tsch
  23. Sounds reminiscent of my trip to Anfield in '79, probably not quite as extreme as I'm still in possession of cock, tongue and intestines, but the rest of it is pretty accurate.
  24. I had received my tickets Wednesday. I’m hoping for a good day out and the chance to experience a famous ground for the first time. I’m not expecting any kind of result for Saints, a combination of having achieved safety, some players being “on the beach”, others probably thinking about summer moves and the game being far more important for Leeds. I just don’t want to experience another Vila away day, where we were absolutely pathetic.
  25. Sounds very likely
