  1. Why, are you being punished for something?
  2. Shame there isn't a yawning emoji
  3. Pretty sure they have one already ready made. Boom boom tsch!
  4. Get your point re the number of games coming but that’s quite a lightweight midfield. I’m not Redmond’s biggest fan but I’d have him in for this one.
  5. Great news it's a "proper" sell out, as opposed to league match "sell outs" where absent season ticket holders are still counted, this should mean there is a bum on nearly every available seat! I still get excited by the FA cup, seems a long time since we've had a Saturday afternoon home tie (note to the forum pedants, even if it isn't, please don't trouble yourself to correct me, as I really don't care)! I'm also pleased it's a decent champ side. Really looking forward to it.
  6. To be fair it’s not like the expenditure is a write off, they will all have a residual value, even if they are short term solutions. Assuming they are all worthless, going forward £100 million to stay in the prem is probably a good value in their circumstances.
  7. To be fair the other thread could be renamed the Newcastle Haters
  8. The only one on that list I really care about is Romeu, of course I would have Broja but I can't see it happenning. If we are moving forward the rest wouldn't be missed, I'd like to cash out on Redmond too if there is some value there.'
  9. You shouldn’t go round repeating that based on social media “evidence”
  10. I thought he was good enough, as you say, landed here at a very bad time.
  11. My Liverpool supporting son in law reckons we are back in for Minimouso on loan.
  12. Then we can sign him in six years when his legs have gone and give him the equivalent of £75 k a week for being a nice bloke.
  13. I know this was said in jest, but the tragedy with Theo is if his reported wage of £75k a week is correct then he is "worth" minus £3.9 million per year, so unless they have something to trade us to the value of minus £3.9 million per year, or thereabouts then probably not.
  14. I guess "Casper" Schmeichel would be the only one who could see him?
  15. Clucking bell! I was blindsided by that one!
  16. Not being alive would also be a massive disadvantage.
  17. As much as I'd like to secure him based on his services to date, why would Chelsea be in any rush, there is no incentive for Chelsea to cash in now, the end of the season is is only 4 months away. If he carries on the way he is he will be worth a lot more, eiter to them as a player or to the highest bidder. The only pressure to act now is on us, because we will be unlikely to be bale to compete at the end of the season if he does become available.
  18. I know, confusing isn't it? How all those bookies don't go out of business when their odds setting process is such a finger in the air exercise.
  19. He's only 25, he deserves another chance wherever that may be.
  20. I have it on good authority he took it on board and he is joining us with the sole purpose of self improvement, vis a vis, not being a wanker anymore. I have to say so far it’s working very well, I am no longer thinking of him as a wanker, but a rather fine young chap. However, if he does not sign for us he will swiftly revert to being a wanker with ridiculous hair ! I appreciate everyone isn’t as balanced and rational as me, but please, give it some thought.
  21. Just to let you know we all appreciate your gesture to personally funding Deli Ali’s wages, we all like to think we are good supporters , but that’s taking it to the next level! 3 cheers for nta786!
  22. To be honest I've never really understood how it works, using Livramento as an example, how is the fee set? Do we say we want £50 million, Chelsea say no, we then sell him to Liverpool for £35 million, can Chelsea come back at us? Or, do Chelsea say they are paying £25 million and they then go and flip him for £35 million? I can't get my head round it. Or was the value agreed at the time of signing? That aside, it feels it's just another way of the very wealthiest clubs increasing their pool of players.
  23. Hope his discipline is OK, don't want to see too many early baths, and I'd hate to see his career go down the pan.
  24. There would be some sort of cost benefit analysis which you would presume had been undertaken by all prior to proceeding with capital projects in any business, not just the 5 football clubs highlighted in the article. It's always a difficult one with Saints, there are always going to have 28,000 of us turn up regardless of the drabness of the product or surroundings whilst we are in the premier league. It would depend on how the new owners see the future?
  25. I enjoyed our Jack berating Bruno Fernandes at SMS
