  1. Good to see the lib-dems represented on the forum
  2. I've been in the Kingsland during the match and haven't heard any crowd noise.
  3. I think you maybe
  4. I’m desperate for him to be good, but the jury is out for me. He comes across very well and has become generally very popular very quickly. We won’t really know what he’s about until next season.
  5. As long as it’s not that Sum Ting-Wong guy.
  6. Disagree, Austin is good at holding up the ball and bringing others into play.
  7. its the "Southampton Way"
  8. Oh, please, not here.
  9. My “has” was very much past tense, I think he is finished, but I don’t think he deserves abuse, that’s the point I was trying to make.
  10. Does anyone know if we have recall options on Carrillo and Boufal? Ralph said he wanted a look at them, I assumed that meant now. We are looking threadbare in attack now. If Ings is out more than in, Austin and Long embarrassingly past it, it doesn’t leave us much.
  11. It’s unfair to call him a fraud, he’s just past it, imo. In his shoes I’d keep going, I’d keep thinking my mojo would return. He may not be the best, but he has sweated blood for us.
  12. I did, I was wrong, very wrong.
  13. He’s Dianne Abbott’s brother from another mother
  14. Really? I kid myself I don’t care, but the reality was I had a lump in my throat and had to suppress a little sob when Derby scored their last penalty. The fa cup was magic when I was a lad, talking about the fantastic days and nights at the Dell here.
  15. I hope people are right about Obefami, I think he could go either way.
  16. True, I always felt Hughes was going through the motions, lost all his drive and just along for the lifestyle. Whereas Ralph just loves the challenge
  17. indeed
  18. Possibly over a certain distance, but it’s all about the first yard or two, and I think that is where he has lost it. There may be life left in him, I’m hoping a few will get back to form when the new regime gets them to the correct level of conditioning.
  19. I agree, his legs have gone, the instant burst of speed has gone, and that was what made him effective. I don’t dislike him, he simply isn’t up to it anymore and shouldn’t be considered an option, I’m my humble opinion
  20. True, but compare the result to those achieved against the other utter dogsh1te teams we have played this season and last, it’s a hug leap forward.
  21. I think it’s hypersensitivity. This is just one of many aspects of life that are now whipped up beyond frenzy. People also. Ow have the thinnest of thin skins.
  22. Therefore he shall be known as Hutch, by extension whatever song we sing should be it the tune off Wallace & Grommet (Were Rabbit), there you go, all sorted!
  23. I did that once, got me in a lot of trouble !
  24. We can only have perception , we don't really know what's going on. However, I agree It must be very dispiriting for a competent player to not have confidence in the management, the players around him, team selections or tactics. I know it would throw me off my game, as it has in my " normal" working life in comparible situations.
  25. I think most do, I’m not sure about Cedric and Bertrand, they seem to go through the motions, some just aren’t that good, others are devoid of confidence.
