And subsequently regressed.

In a nutshell, that's all we can do, anything else will have a negative effect, fingers crossed the rest of the debacle sorts itself out.

Sort of agree, because getting behind one “thing” is divisive, which is along the lines of what I was trying to say above. But.... I do not seeing myself getting behind Gao under any foreseeable circumstance, and unfortunately he is a major part of our club.

The rich mans JWP? -
Ive no faith in any of them, I don’t understand the notion you must pick someone to support? I support the club, as hard as it is, because I have done for a lifetime and my father did before me. Hopefully it will still be here for generations to come, when these charlatans have found another body to prey on, if they don’t destroy it first. I feel Ralph is a terrible manager, however I can’t be sure, it’s hard to see the wood for the trees at our club. In any other scenario we would be screaming for his head. What if he is actually the one destroying team morale, how is throwing your support behind him going to help?

I think we have had it, I've never thought that is the past, even when it looked completely hopeless as I always thought we had enough to pull ourselves out. We always had team spirit and the collective Saints spirit, that has all evaporated. I can't see a redeeming feature in our current set up. I said it after the Chelsea game, I feel it more so now.

Seconded. -
This is where my having no friends or acquaintances policy comes into its own.
-
Picking up on your feeble minded point, I have long been thinking that this black box / profiling / only signing nice boys who won’t rock the boat policy has led us in some way to the characterless mob we have now.
-
No, it needs to be talked about, there are many problems with this club and Ralph is definitely one of them.
-
I have not formed an opinion of his ability, but it can't be easy being thrust into the prem , played out of position, then not feature at all. Poor lad must be destroyed.
-
Im happy to, with Eric Black, Ralph K and Les gone we need another scapegoat. Id never heard of her until this thread, but it all fits now. Patel out!

She would increase the crowd noise, but wouldn't let us switch the floodlights on, and we definitely wouldn't be allowed the pyrotechnics, so on balance I'm not sure.

On one level, no. I haven't enjoyed watching Saints since Koeman left. I could kick myself for buying season tickets this year as its a struggle to make myself go. There appear to be more real clubs with real fans in the Championship which I would enjoy watching more. The issue I have with relegation it could be a cliff edge for us, we are such a poor side and set up in general I don't think we would set the championship alight, we could end up like Pompey. We cannot rely on some knight in shining armour to come and rescue us a second time. I'd prefer it if we were rescued now in some way, and not take the Russian roulette relegation option to make things improve.

Probably the only manager who would instantly improve matters is Sam Allardyce. I don’t have a problem with him but it’s not a long term solution. Ultimately, changing the manager would be a sticking plaster on a gangrenous wound of a club.

In answer to your first question, which you go on to answer in part, the minimum I expect is to play the best players in their best positions, drop out of form players and try to find a way to get along and get the best out of premier league egotist footballers. I'm not a Ralph out man, or anywhere near it, and I haven't really noticed anyone suggesting that he should go. What I see is a general frustration. I'm starting to think he has found himself out of his depth in the premier, but I do think he is capable and will find his feet. I am also concerned that 6 of the 7 points we have could be considered very fortunate. There is also a general air of Saints fatigue and frustration, its been a tough few years since Ronald.

I applaud your loyalty, but it in what way is he brilliant
-
Ralph's genius will probably see him played at left back.
-
Not so much the brains, more of a carer, it was his job to make sure Ralph took his medication.
-
Yeah, but if he's played for us he'd have been a good sort of c*nt, that's how we role!
-
I recall a story from an Ipswich game where it was said Saints let him go for being too small, he subsequently shot up a foot almost straight after leaving.
-
He’s been well below par this season, maybe it’s something personal.

Daft and rude response. We could field a strong team that have played in derbies or and or internationals, Portsmouth is not the only derby. Anyway, getting way off topic.
