I always had faith in Russ, or maybe I never did, or maybe I have flip flopped, but one thing I can be certain of, is one of those things is true.

Fair enough if that is the case, but my response was largely to the point expressed by the poster that the purported action or inaction by Russell was grounds for admiration.

Regardless of one’s political beliefs, i would say that is the worst thing he has done and proves how utterly classless the man is. I’m sure even Starmer would shake Rishi’s hand on such an occasion.

I don't get the comments on both RM threads that he inherited a shit show,. As far as I can see he was given a clean slate; all the worst players from last season shipped out, a new coaching team in place , new DoF, PL standard loans and aquations giving him pretty much a team of players who have played in the premier league, playing in a league which is now light years below the standard of the premier league, the full backing of his philosophy throughout the club. I would say he was given the tools to succeed in achieving promotion from this league.

Bit of a tricky one, I voted wrong man, but if we go up he'll be the right man, but if we go up he'll definitely be the wrong man because if he persists with his dogma we will be cannon fodder in the prem.. So the conflict in my head has him wrong by a majority of 2-1. edit , I am talking about end of season, I don’t advocate changing now.

Why have one rigid “system”? Ralph didn’t have a plan b or c, nor does Russ. Plenty of other manages have systems but aren’t afraid adapt in game if the situation requires it.
