Worst Southampton chants of the recent Premier League era?
Toussaint replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
"insert town or city name" is a shithole, I want to go home. We don't have much to boast about ourselves in that respect -

Didn’t they offer £50 million just after we played them at home? -
I am surprised, in my simple football brain, why we just didn't get him, Djneppo or Sulemana to run across the edge of the area or even into the area as a tactic, they can all draw fouls.

Your right, he’ll never be an Elyonoussi
-
And that youngster who plays on the wing, the Brazilian lad, he could learn the Southampton way and could have a very bright future.
-
That all sounds slightly Schofield !
-
Thought he was going to Palace?

It’s true , Heinrich Blockchain and Jimmy Ponzi almost secured. They failed in their bid to secure Ingrid Multilevelmarketingscam, which is disappointing.

We don’t need evidence here on Saintsweb, if there’s a gonna be a hangin’ there a gonna be a hangin’ and there ain’t nuthin no one can do about it!

To the tune of ….makes spectacular saves you wouldn’t expect him to but doesn’t save some that he should do.
-
He may have been, but my Pompey fanatic friend was very accurate in his assessment, as it turned out, of him when we were initially interested in him.

A lot of posters would take being called middle aged as a compliment

We will be back, question is premier league or league one, we’ll definitely be back somewhere we’ve been before. Put as much as you can afford to on it.

Because despite earning in a week what most earn in year we give a shit and they don’t. Inset appropriate C word in the plural here ——-

Choice today, go to football or sit in the garden eating tapas and drinking cava. Definitely made the right choice

Someone on another thread said, very aptly, we don’t know if we are going to be top eight, middle eight or bottom eight. Until we get an idea of next season’s squad and coaching set up we don’t have a clue. Even that doesn’t tell us how we will perform. I think it maybe a bit of a slog.

I’m sure it will be very exciting being in a promotion chase, but at this point in time a feel very jaded with the premier league and what it has become.

To be fair I didn’t get that far, everything was going so swimmingly I thought it was time for some blue sky thinking, so I put the laptop in the bath, I didn’t just “consider breaking” it, I actually broke it! So we’ll probably win the champions league, however I will now never know for certain. There are some drawbacks with the “breaking it” philosophy. Including the £1000.00 for a new laptop.

I just did not t for you, projecting forwards four years it seems we’ll be providing some stiff competition to Eastleigh for promotion out of the national league south.

Its also common practice, unfortunately.

Diego Simeone - loves the city, especially the M271 and Millbrook Rd, with the particular highlight being the Regents Park Rd traffic lights. He even put his name on the list for a place in Redbridge Towers, (best views of the aforementioned major attractions),with a view to buying it when he has been there long enough, thus giving him a leg up on the property ladder But, as usual we went for the cheap option!

.... has been given the good news apparently The club wants to place on record its thanks to Rubén for taking on the managerial position at a difficult time for the club and for giving his all as we attempted to stay in the Premier League. Rubén will take charge of the team for the final game against Liverpool on Sunday at St Mary’s. We wish him all the best for his future career.

Anyone go to the away game 25 + years ago wham the Two Tone Collective were playing in the stands (Specials, Selector and someone else, maybe the Beat, as a combination), I'll never forget that. The whole stand dancing at half time!
