  1. Surprised to see Ketchup in so many “best lineups” no one has a clue what he’ll be like I the prem, playing for a poor ream with a loony at the helm. Salisu makes as many balls ups as anyone else but seems immune to criticism. But, having said all of that, you could have City’s or Liverpools centre back partnerships and they’d still look stupid if the had to play Ralph ball, anyone would look bad defending in a team where the midfield is all over the show, leaving twos and threes ion ones, and where fullbacks/ wingbacks commonly get stranded at the wrong end of the pitch when our attacks inevitably break down.
  2. I say we will 100% be relegated if we keep Ralph, therefore I say get a proven manager in now and it reduces the probability of relegation to something less than 100%, so, we’ll worth the risk. …another debacle against Leeds and I think it will be a moot point anyway
  3. I always suspected that was the plan
  4. Got his revenge today then?
  5. He was, but he’s not a defender and he was committed to attack, that is the risk using full backs as wingers.
  6. Cunning plan, pack your penalty area for damage limitation
  7. He doesn’t dress like a paedo choirmaster for a start
  8. My point being we have way more serious issues than his performance
  9. For those banging on about AA, he isn’t responsible for the chaotic and wide open defending
  10. Strong bench, maybe he’s taking the temperature into account? Hopefully it won’t be too far gone if and when they are deployed
  11. I just wouldn’t want to see ABK ruined, I don’t have the problems with Stephens and Bednarek that others do. I could live with a back three of Lyanco , Salisu, and one of those two, I think ABK needs time to acclimatise, in the same manner a Salisu was given time.
  12. I think those three centre backs would get slaughtered
  13. I think Fulham and Bournemouth probably, the 3rd spot is anyone's guess. Don't know anything about Forest, Leeds had a terribly injury affected season , I think they will be OK as will Everton.
  14. he's clearly been reading the forum and has taken on our concerns, so respect for that Ralphy. So Ralph, be sure to stand by for the pointers after Spurs, and be sure to read the thread with your name heading it, that will give you a very good indication as to whether you should fall on your sword or if we are going to give you a few more games.
  15. I didn’t listen, and just read the text, I will stop worrying
  16. Sorry Matthew, unacceptable, we have come to expect much more from you.
  17. That makes me nervous.
  18. Nailsea, not Taunton! Please do your research, that is offensive "county / racial" profiling.
  19. Shame we missed him, the team badly needs some spunk
  20. Simon Cowell, I think
  21. And the Europa league, we suffered the after effects of that for years, bloating the squad with averageness to cover the amount of games. West Ham suffered as well. (On the pitch)
  22. I didn’t want us to sign him, but he did show some signs he would be useful. Then it seems his legs just went, he may still be fast, but it’s the instant burst from a standing position that has gone, and that’s what players like him rely on. I recall the game i first became aware of it, Romeu played a lovely ball to his feet with his back to goal, all Theo had to do was move towards it and he just couldn’t. That now happens every time he plays.
  23. Excellent new additions to the panel, as always it’s good to hear the usual suspects talking good sense.
  24. I don’t think Redmond would be anywhere near good enough for any premier league side, he’d still be coming up against premier league defences. He should be ok in the championship, as he’s done well in cup games against lesser opposition, but I doubt he’ll drop wages to go there, which is why will be lumbered until his contract expires.
  25. It is human nature, but at the higher levels of management in any business you do have to put personality to one side, often the greatest talents are much more difficult to manage and control. So it should be about best for the "business" otherwise you end up with a load of agreeable less talented "yes men". Lawrie Mac and Strachan were two examples of managers who got this right, I think maybe also Poch, and players were in awe of Ronald, I don't get that vibe from Ralph.
