  1. I don't think anyone is going to argue with you when it comes to grooming.
  2. And if he keeps them up it will have been a fantastic investment
  3. True story, Redmond was driving to a medical in the midlands, he was making really good progress up M40, he then had to make decision at spaghetti junction, he lost all confidence, did a u turn, shuffled sideways and has been hiding there ever since.,
  4. Most of them could go a game unnoticed
  5. You said goto, which isn’t even a word! Very sloppy Matthew, you have fallen well short of the standards demanded by this forum. I think we can all agree you need to take a time out to consider your actions and their consequences.
  6. Quite severe, he’s knocked on to a top six club
  7. He told me, he also said your probably a good bloke but a bit of a bore on the Saints web forum.
  8. Maybe “no holds barred” was a euphemism for “double dismal” ?
  9. A schnappy comeback indeed
  10. That game was just before we were worked out and nullified by the whole of the premier league.
  11. You are quite the lader in the humour department
  12. I really wanted him to come good, I thought this season would be his chance, but watching him take the extra touch in the area yesterday, therefore losing the opportunity to score, made me finally realise he’s not going to progress to premier league level.
  13. Yeah, but apart from those little things we are looking pretty good, ja?
  14. Yes, they’d be even crapper
  15. He did say that, I recall him doing so, wasn’t that was before the new owners came in? I’m not sure it makes sense other than when that’s all you have at your disposal, which is the situation we found ourselves in last season. I was hoping we could be more than a development academy for the big boys under the new ownership. I don’t mind the odd loan, a few cheaper prospects, but I do hope we buy some established talent as well, players, if not from the premier league, come from equivalent leagues where they shouldn’t take too long to get going.
  16. The Krankies.
  17. I'm not saying it is a definite, but I wouldn't write it off either. The difference here is the upturn coincided with the new management regime and signing a number of better players. Let's hope it doesn't "work like that" in our case.
  18. Why not, they averaged around 2 points a game for the second half of last season, they will presumably be stronger this season? If they took that form through the whole season they would have finished 3rd.
  19. Arsenal wouldn’t let him
  20. What based on what? I stated it was my non expert opinion, it doesn’t need a basis. Besides, It wouldn’t be the first time a player had been bought back to soon and suffered an injury, either a worsening of the original condition or a related injury caused by compensation for the original injury.
  21. He had an injury prior to his “injury”, minuscus tendon, my non expert opinion at the time was that he was rushed back.
  22. There was a bit in the middle where we only had 3 from 18 as well.
  23. He's always been a shining example, he's really hard, not a carbon copy of any of our other players, many facets to his game. I hope he can cut it at this level. looks like a real jewel.
  24. I hope we get him, he seemed to fit in well here and should continue to improve
  25. I don’t think he’s shit at all, it’s early days in an injury ravaged career, he’s shown signs of being a good player, just my opinion.
