  1. He, or someone like him, would transform us.
  2. They are more like boiling frogs for those not familiar with the syndrome I lifted this from wiki The boiling frog is an apologuedescribing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.
  3. I thought we looked much better when he came on yesterday, I agree he hasn't been himself recently, but I'm hoping he's a bit fitter and less fatigued after the internationals.
  4. I would have Aribo publicly executed at the Bargate after his "walking football" performance yesterday. Unless he was carrying an injury, in which case a day in the stocks will have to suffice. Stu has to be in there, I'd still pick Elyounoussi, save Edozie for later in the match.
  5. No. they were cordoned with black mesh either side of the barrier
  6. I'll let you off, to be fair I've accused several posters of the same thing, someone has to crack!
  7. Not stupid, just literal, you remind me of someone who used to post a lot, then just disappeared? hmmm🤔
  8. I have to disagree, he should play every game, especially while Tino is out. He has often been scapegoated by Ralph, particularly after the 0 - 4 away to Villa last season, that wasn't down to him, that was down to the MIA midfield, and they have been playing that way ever since that match. I think our defence is the only part of the team that's at the required level, the suicidal narrow midfield exposes them badly at times. There was so much space out wide again yesterday, sometimes two and 3 man overloads, I'm surprised WHU didn't shred us, they probably would have done if they weren't suffering a Europa hangover.
  9. I was listening to TSP this morning and it was suggested that Joe Shields was the person responsible for leaking all the inside info, if that was the case, why wasn't he sacked? Unless it came to light after his decision to leave?
  10. Think it was a joke, old bean
  11. Or collectively rabbits in the headlights, which is just as bad
  12. I just learned whu didn’t have a regular cb in their lineup
  13. To be fair it was a much bigger game.
  14. He absolutely took the piss yesterday, he should have been hooked at half time for Stu. I think he started the season ok, and therefore got quite a few fans on side, so far I think he’s our weakest signing. Part of the reason we couldn’t get out of our own half yesterday was he was just floating around and not offering an outlet, AA ran himself into the ground but instead of changing things before the inevitable equaliser he waited until it was too late. Do we ever see strategic substitutions, I feel they are always reactive?
  15. Do you not think he faded?
  16. They had taken the initiative about 10 minutes before they took the lead, Aribo and AA should have gone then, they stopped offering any outlet, hence we were stuck in our own half.
  17. He has runners, JWP has no one.
  18. So would everybody
  19. I don’t think Elyonoussi is as bad as popular opinion suggests, I’d have him in over Diallo any day of the week. Today is all about what AMN brings to the midfield In my opinion.
  20. I’d prescribe a few alcoholic beverages, remember the golden rule, don’t let the football ruin a good day out.
  21. I recall a few seasons ago, the the fans were getting very angry during in of Ralph’s first very bad runs, must have been pre covid, after a particularly bad showing everyone was set to voice their anger at the end and they turned the music up so loud it drowned everything out.
  22. We’d have to change the way we play for him to ramp up, he’s getting hopelessly exposed by lack of midfield cover currently.
  23. That’s largely true, however he seems to set them up to fail at times which must be very demotivating.
  24. I don’t even think he has the capability to run around like a headless anything. If it was a matter of lurking in the box and waiting for a chance he might do something, but we rarely create anything in the box, if we did our incumbent strikers may get a few more.
  25. I’ll keep Ralph thanks
