  1. It’s a very good read
  2. I know Moi is currently the focus of a lot of frustration, but he can do a job within a functioning midfield. I don’t get Diallo, he wouldn’t get near another first team in the top two English leagues, he is what he is, which is a French lower league 1 player.
  3. It's a bit ironic all the pre match focus on our dysfunctional midfield, when for the last few seasons we we largely happy with Stu, Orial and JWP but generally felt we were missing a decent wide / attacking player. Now we find ourselves with no Oriel (big loss IMO), Stu not in the reckoning and JWP out of form, but in his defence surrounded by a very weak midfield.
  4. Ref those selecting Aribo and Edozie, is that on the basis of the lack of competition or their form / potential ? My jury is out on Aribo, it’s still early days, I have not seen Edozie and have no idea if he should be a starter, personally I think that midfield would get shredded. Stu Armstrong has to come back in, things only seem to happen when he’s on the pitch. Likewise I have no view on AMN, I’d be inclined to leave out Edozie and bring in Stu. An unpopular view but I’d probably start with Elyonoussi as well, he’d be more effective if Stu was playing. So I’d have jwp , Stu, Elyonoussi and Aribo. The others could be introduced when required.
  5. I want more than 3 points, or he walks!
  6. when you say another, who else?
  7. I'm not sure, I think it will take a couple more, win Saturday and the mood will change, things will look OK, 10 points from 8 games would be OK, lose saturday, then presumably lose to City the week after and its 7 from 9 and possibly getting close to the bottom 3. My guess is if nothing is gained from Everton and City then West Ham will be the "must win" for Ralph.
  8. sounds good to me
  9. He massively over complicates things, maybe his successor will keep things simpler, play to players strengths and not coach the life out of creative players. I don’t think it’ll be too hard a transition for them.
  10. They should award us the points, it’d be a nice gesture
  11. I would consider it a rant, it's a succinct and eloquent summary in my opinion.
  12. True, but that offers no explanation for Ralph's most recent brain fart.
  13. "would the real slim MLG please stand up, please stand up, please stand up...🎶"
  14. well it's a bit confusing, but isn't it the more money that pours in shortens the odds, so it becomes self perpetuating in that sense, but then again if the initial money piling in is a result of some inside info???.... so, in conclusion, I don't know either.
  15. But mostly because they lost to us
  16. It's not the wobble that worries us, its Raplhy Regressing to the worst version of himself, I don't know why, but with the new set up and refreshed squad I thought that was all behind us.
  17. ...these are a few of my favourite things, tra la la la. That line was sadly edited out before the sound of music was released... FACT!
  18. I don’t know if he’s still retiring, I assumed it was still his plan, I hadn’t heard different. Like most, I’m exasperated by his regression into bizarre selections and tactics, so have a real downer on him again.
  19. To see out his last year before retiring and relegating us in the process?
  20. I’d disagree regarding Moyes and Rogers, they both had to endure the curse of the Europa league, it drains clubs that don’t have two “first teams”
  21. Broja could also create his own opportunities.
  22. My 8 may have been a bit optimistic. But then good old Ralphie boy has had long enough to drain the life out of them now, so who knows?
  23. I’m not sure what JWP can do, he surrounded by the weakest midfield I have ever seen.
  24. It’s the least Ralph could do, he’s quick enough to do the embarrassing champions league- esque celebrations when we occasionally win
  25. I’m not sure we do, we don’t have Broja or Romeu for starters.
