I nothing happens by tea time i'm "virtually" ripping up my season ticket , which I have not yet un purchased, but nevertheless I think it sends out a strong signal. I would urge others, especially those who do not actively support the team, to print a ticket and rip it up and post the picture on social media. PS. an angry scowl will add valuable gravitas.

Thank you for confirming that he was confirming what you had earlier said. Manners maketh man, after all.

It’s your special month is it, Sue?

Like a lot of people I was irritated by the talk breakaway super league or whatever it was called, now I wish it would happen.

For me it's very important that Willy stays, as there is still plenty of mileage left in the Willy joke writing department.
-
Your damned if you do, your damned if you don't, my point is they cannot target fourth or fifth from bottom.
-
We don't have the money to get relegated either (can't afford to), so if the strategy, as previously suggested by the new owners, is just to avoid relegation, then assembling the minimum squad to stay in the league is a very high risk strategy.

All of this whilst the whole of the known world is conspiring against them, some achievement.

There are a few references here regarding our transfer policy / strategy, eg. "won't pay the wages / won't pay that fee... " Does anyone actually know what our policy is, or is there a consensus that nothing will change under the new ownership (based on our conditioning to be underwhelmed by any transfer activity) . If that is the case, and in all seriousness, where does "no holds barred" sit with that?

In his defence he was here at our most injury ravaged time, also, he may be better if he was allowed to play with more freedom, like a lot of flair players.

Sound a bit like Højbjerg?
-
He is, but he ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. He says all the right things.
-
He really doesn’t deserve that.
-
What about Henderson? Part of me would Like Ox back but he's a big risk in terms of fitness, we don't want a repeat of the Walcott situation (also on the list)

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10881759/Premier-League-forgotten-men-club-moving-summer.html A few big names who have lost their way, for a couple at least age has caught up with them.

I don’t think anyone was questioning his ability, it’s the leadership qualities or lack of that are causing some debate
-
Are you saying someone who doesn’t share your view is clueless? Wow
-
He was no leader by any definition, I liked him a lot but he had a tendency to go regularly MIA.
-
Not literally it was wont be, but it still hurts, and there is always the danger of going into free fall. It’s not the end of the world but it’s far better to stay in the league
-
On the upside, that sentence would fit perfectly to the tune of “ cheer up sleepy Jean” and we have been struggling for songs?

Great, my attempt to gain some credibility has drastically failed at the first hurdle!
