Got up here last night, chatting to Evertonians the sense is that it’s likely to turn toxic very quickly. Apparently the ground half emptied after an hour against Brighton, so a good start could turn things in our favour. And they have protests planned.

It’s laughable that there seems to be some sort of sense that the boo boys are claiming credit for the upturn.

Che isn't the whole problem, yes he snatches at, and misses lots of chances. But our balls into the area are terrible or non existent. I'm not saying a striker won't help, but a few decent balls into the danger areas and a few goals from midfield will also improve things massively. If we can give Che a few decent chances each game, then it is not the end of the world if he misses one or 2, where is if he misses the only opportunity he gets in a game.,

From where I was I heard him scream in agony. I’m not entirely sure what happened but he got a big shove in the back and his leg(s) seemed to jar as he was trying to resist be shoved into touch.

I can also see a strong case for not dignifying it with a response. I was riveted whilst listening to it as it tapped into the collective mood, but on reflection it was an absolutely classless and shameful personal attack.
