Saints vs Sheffield Utd (A) Capital One Quarter Final
Saint Garrett replied to Bearsy's topic in The Saints
Devonshire Cat has a superb collection of beers - that's just down from Division St in the centre. You also have Green Room which is pretty good for Ales, and Frog and Parrot. The Shakespeare, Fat Cat, and Kelham Island Tavern are all in the Kelham Island district of the city. Sheaf View is one I'd recommend which is over the other side of the ground from the City. Hope this helps. -

Id recommend doing what Dan has said. Alternatively you can park over by Halfords, or a pub called the Sheaf View, which is a cracking little pub with a host of real ales. Alternatively, there is parking all the way round the street of Brammal Lane, but it depends what you're planning on doing. Parking round there is pretty sparse. There is also parking around Ecclesall Road (there are some free spots near Hallam Collegiate Campus) , so may be worth a look. -
Can't stand paying that much for football. It's absolutely ridiculous especially when it's such a hole. If they want atmospheres to improve, they need to make it a more working class game again, rather than rich ppl the only ones who can afford to go.

Saw Kasabian for the fifth time on Tuesday night in Bournemouth. They're brilliant live!

I asked the club on Twitter if there is likely to be any additional, and they said they expected that to be the last batch. However, IMO, if the demand is there then we'll be given more, they've only sold 11k so far. -

CONFIRMED - Mane joins Liverpool for £34m + £2m addons

What are you trying to suggest Connor? -
Cork or Davis in for Mane. Tadic and Long back out wide either side of Pelle.
-
I've not actually been that impressed with him. He is young and has a lot of learning to do though. He was poor at Spurs, not great in that Newcastle home game, poor last night. He seems to flap a lot for a keeper of his size. Saying that - i'm sure (and i hope) he comes good - he has the attributes to be a really good keeper, but needs to make sure he doesn't have concentration lapses.

He was very very poor, yet had our only chance of the first half. He will frustrate and do the easy things badly, but he's also capable of winning a game. Saying that, I'd still start Long and bring on Mane in our "standard" line up. -
I'll take a point, frustrating and some poor performances, but if you would have offered me a point earlier I would have taken it. We didn't create enough with the possession we had.
-
I just worry about the few times we've needed him, he's had some bad games. Even Newcastle at home he flapped at a cross which they should have scored from. Sure he'll come good, but tonight was an awful judgement
-
Yoshi and Gazza were both playing I believe. We also had Osvaldo playing, but no Morgan. We are good enough to win tonight, just getting a bit lucky and not giving them the opportunity to score.
-
Despite all the injuries they can still put out a pretty good side, on a par with their standard team last season. N Zogbia, Agbonlahor and Weimann up top, they'll look to counter with pace. Just have to be patient, don't force it, and hopefully our class will tell come the final whistle. Pelle hasn't scored for a couple of games, so must be a shoe in to score tonight.
-
No problem with Reed stepping in alongside Cork and Wanyama, he's more than good enough to play the odd game for us. Looks a real talent, and would be good for his development.
-
Not dominant enough to play DM, and not creative enough to play in AM. There is no doubt he's got quality though but we need to find him his position. In the current system it would have to be instead of Davis in the third CM position. I guess we haven't got overly excited about him, as he's been around 2 and half years now, but he isn't playing regularly. Certainly be interesting to see how he develops over the next few years.

Could have had 8 current or ex saints in the starting line up tonight Forster; Clyne Chambers Cahill Shaw; Henderson Wilshere; Walcott Lallana Chamberlain; Lambert Next time Woy

They'll sell the bottom tier first, then if thats sold out they'll put the top on sale to Saints, if not, it will go on sale to Sheff Utd. -

Sign Toby and Bertrand, Get Cork, Davis and J-Rod on new contracts. Maybe bring in another AM/Winger but not desparate. -
Certainly an odd one, after he was so positive in the new training facilities, and fought for such good part in Staplewood. Seems odd he's just going to run off after waiting for those facilities for so long. Oh well, he's replaceable. One thing this summer has taught me, is that at our level, anyone is replaceable, although maybe not Morgan
-
Cant agree. a midfield of Morgan, Matic and Fabregas would be unbelievable, I personally believe you're underestimating him, but I respect your opinion.
