  1. Probably more to do with the fact that he's got to get used to playing with Wanyama who is a different player to Cork. It will take time - however Morgan hasn't turned into a bad player suddenly. --------Boruc---------- Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw ----Morgan-Wanyama--- J-Rod---Gaston---Lallana --------Osvaldo--------
  2. Think so, yes. For example....these were our long passes vs WBA on the opening day... http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2013/matches/694909/team-stats/20/1_PASS_12#tabs-wrapper-anchor Sunderland... http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2013/matches/694918/team-stats/20/1_PASS_12#tabs-wrapper-anchor Norwich... http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2013/matches/694927/team-stats/20/1_PASS_12#tabs-wrapper-anchor
  3. What a fantastic player he's been for us. 104 goals and a huge contribution to where we are now. Best value signing we've ever made?
  4. They've always got deals on their tickets though, which is why you hear them advertised on Talksport every day...
  5. Depends though doesnt it. We've hit quite a few 'long balls' across the pitch while switching it around the back, and also quite a few passes from CB's into Adam/Rickie/Osvaldo/J-Rod's feet. Also with us having quite a lot of the ball, we're going to have a lot more passes on the whole. The whole 'long ball' debate has been done to death though. West Ham aren't as long ball as they're made out to be, and we're more long ball than we would probably admit.
  6. Article on BBC has been released about price of football. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23723537 We're certainly in the top half of most expensive clubs. Would be interesting to see how many fans that used to go that just cant justify spending that much on one day. My dad used to take me and my sister when we were kids down the Dell in the 90s, and think it used to cost him about £30 for all three of us. Probably triple that now. Also why do we not ever have 'kids for a quid' or something similar ? Would be better than having 2/3000 spare seats at the non glamorous games. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24045505
  7. Done a little Q&A for one of my mates on WestHamOnline.net. Here for those interested. http://westhamonline.net/article.php?6981976
  8. Absolutely marvellous. My west ham mate isn't impressed! (Too low IQ for it to make sense!)
  9. Thought the same, probably isn't use to his team giving the ball away this much. Wilshere and Lampard have been non existent so far, and Milner and Walcott have been incredibly poor, Thought Rickie had a good first 20 and last 5. Didn't think he was great in the middle. Walker has been found wanting a bit as well, their no10 looks cracking. Lets hope we can be a bit more composed in the second half, stop forcing it and have some patience. Got the midfield to be dominating this, and we're not at all at the moment.
  10. Carroll supposedly out for between 6 months and a year...ruptured achilles... (rumour)
  11. Definitely 1.
  12. So true. They're just going to come and sit with 11 men behind the ball, and then play either Maiga or Vaz Te and hit us on the break or from set pieces. If we lose I may cry as all my mates are West Ham. We owe them one from that sh1te performance at the Boleyn last season.
  13. Think we'll see the pressing game a lot more in games against the top sides, but slower against the bottom sides. We need to pick up wins from playing against the less footballing sides, and this isn't going to be done by pressing a team who is then just going to boot it 50 yards up the pitch and completely bypass half our team.
  14. Interesting. He's probably been on it all summer with all the festivals he's been snapped at !
  15. Heard Carroll broke down in training today an unlikely to be involved Sunday. We'll see though. Might be just a rumour!
  16. Oh dear that's pathetic.
  17. More to do with you just reporting what other people had said.
  18. This offer which Sharp supposedly had from a prem team was just Glasgow making it up - it didn't happen. I'm sure if it did, we'd have welcomed him to leave.
  19. Yup, not afraid to say I was fooled by a fake twitter account....it happens.
  20. Nah just old and overated and time for him to be replaced by England. Please forgive me for having an opinion !
  21. He doesn't have a source he just makes things up to get a reaction from people on here. No "bigger, better' team would want him, as he's not very good. He's a decent goalscorer In the NPC, nothing more. Doesn't have the touch or brain to be a premiership footballer.
  22. Proud of Rickie, had a great all round game.
  23. Saw so many Saints shirts tonight, proud, he was excellent,
  24. I like him.
  25. I'll be at Wemberrleeeyyyy
