Carrick is nothing special when he's put under pressure, Cleverley is toss, and Anderson isn't great. If we can win the midfield battle then we've got half a chance of winning.

Ozil is a top world class player, who is bringing the best out of others IMO. Also probably gave the squad a boost knowing that he was joining. They need a CB to replace Mertesacker and probably a decent keeper, and they aren't far off a title challenging side. Ramsey has been superb, Giroud has looked a real handful, only thing you'd worry about is their strength in depth but saying that they have a few players out at the moment.

Maybe something to do with MP saying the other day that we use possession as a defensive tactic. When we have the ball we're not always wanting to score, just keeping the ball. We do need to have a 'moments' for a bit longer in games though. We played for about 5 minutes against Palace and went 2-0 up, then the rest of the game we were playing keep ball.
