Davis was playing on the left for the majority of the first half, then Lallana and Davis swapped and he went on the right. Lambert and Osvaldo alternated as to which dropped off. He struggled as his job was no longer just getting it and passing it on. He actually had to do something with it which isn't his game. He just keeps things ticking over with shirt passes.

They move the ball very well, we'll have to be wary of them switching it quickly to bypass our press. Would probably stick with the same side - although I'd be tempted to take out Davis and put J-Rod, JWP or Gaston in for him. Don't think he suited playing on the left.
-
Can't imagine wage demands would have been the sticking point as doubt he's earning that much. £25k max I would have thought.

Hahaha, forgot about that...Classic.

Betting at SFC now.. What a total pain in the butt!

Don't see why anyone bets in these things. You get far better odds online, and normally on betfair! -
Sure they'd be happy to keep him if he's getting points, although that way of playing can only get you so far. He'll stay til they clear the debt IMO, keep them up and the prem money coming in. They're still paying Sheffield Utd for the Tevez fiasco!

Probably not no. Think some people are getting a bit carried away....We've only played WBA, Sunderland, Norwich, WHU, Liverpool and Palace ! We'll see how we get on at Old Trafford and then when we play against Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Top 6 is a possible but very unlikely. 7th is possible...

This is the one, class. Need to get it going at Man Utd as away games are when songs start generally.
-
Another cracking performance from him today. Top top defender.

For future transfer activity, lets avoid Serie A...

Classic thread. -
Oh come on we can do much better than that crap song ! Whatever happened to the rolling stones song or whatever it was ?
-
Wasn't great today! Looked a bit lost on the right/left. Doesn't suit his game at all. Good player to have in ACM against bigger clubs though
-
Not sure I agree with that but Davis is a tidy player and won't let us down, just not sure he's going to break them down. Hopefully he has a good game today though. Would assume it's a 4-2-3-1, can't see Davis playing wide. Osvaldo more of an AM than a striker today.

Personally no idea why Lampard is still getting in the Chelsea side. They could do with a player like Dembele. Class.
-
Good side Spurs. Not many teams will go to WHL and get a result this season.
-
Ha yep loves football and scored at the end too. Superb.
-
Thought so done said that we were practically sold out. Sure they'll be a few Palace fans in with the Saints too.
-
Ha! Osvaldo as captain for mine! Got a feeling...
-
I'm looking forward to his report on Holloway !
-
He'll finish his career here IMO.
-
Tough one as he is a very good player and keeps things ticking over, plus is an important part of our pressing game, however if you need someone to unlock a defence he's not going to do that. I like him, but they'll be times where we need a bit more than just shirt passing.
-
Crap draw. Meh! Just wanted a home draw!!
-
Yep ridiculous. Norwich didn't even reach STH with 0 away games IIRC, yet we only took 2 blocks out of 3. Didn't hear about Liverpool but sounds like the same thing happened again. Crazy really when we sold out the majority of away games last season.
-
It's a tough one, but I just think we're a better side with 1 up top and 3 in behind, and we're going to need that creativity in the midfield to break them down on Saturday. Rickie will probably play though,
