It's not that much. Think I read somewhere that its 5% in total, but something to do with his age at the time, so the development fee is 5%, but we only get a proportion of that, Spurs get the rest of it.

Do agree with you to a certain extent - but don't agree that we didn't need them. Lovren has been quality, and seems to come across as a top bloke as well. Wanyama was excellent against WBA but awful yesterday (can't comment on Sunderland as wasn't there), Osvaldo will take a bit of time to settle, but agree that it's him or Rickie - no idea why we changed the system yesterday to fit them both in - but he's clearly got a lot of talent, and that swivel and shot yesterday was class. It will take time and I guess we have to be patient, but I just think that Pochettino has got to start earning his money to find the correct formula for each game. Sometimes the best players don't make the best team.

Lovren has definitely improved us, he looks a top signing. Wanyama I'm not sure about, they'll be games when he fits better but would still have the Morgan/Cork partnership the majority of the time. Osvaldo looks a good player, but we need to sort out who is going to play. No point trying to fit Osvaldo and Rickie in the same team and play 442 cos it won't work. Shaw and Clyne were the oddest thing yesterday. If they were both fit then they should play, of they're not, then why are they on the bench?! Rodriguez should have started as he fits in the system perfectly. For me it's: Boruc; Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw; Cork Morgan; Rodriguez JWP Lallana; Osvaldo. Either shaw or Clyne have to start, far too stationary for me without them. We really missed Rodriguez and Cork. Why the hell is cork not involved. Absolute embarrassment for me. Was one of our best players last season, and better that Wanyama with Morgan. We shouldn't be playing with out formation either. Either play Rickie or play Osvaldo. They ain't gunna play together. Lamela for a third of the price of Bale is sensational business tbf to them. To bring in Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho, Chadli, Capoue and Chiriches and sell Bale for about a net cost of £10m is a great bit of business. Yes Bale will be a huge loss to the premier league, but they haven't half spent it well. Also take into account the other £20m they have brought in and they've made their squad stronger and come out in profit. It will be interesting to see how they get on this season now, I think they'll finish atleast 4th.
