I think the point is there is so much drivel by certain indivduals on this site at the moment, that it was an odd decision to move/lock this one about actual football rather than the constant trolling/wuming.

But why was yesterdays thread locked....? bloody ridiculous.

If talking about other signings which could impact Saints, or peoples opinion on other players playing against Saints, thats enough for me to be Saints related. It's an interesting discussion - no reason to move it/lock it.

It's a bit ridiculous that there is no explanation as to why it was locked. It's an interesting topic of debate, and would think it would have been one of the last threads to be locked on here.

At the moment I can just about justify it, living with parents, not having a wife or kids, etc, but if I didn't have the disposable income I would sack it off and just go to a few games a season. Personally don't think any football match should cost more than £30. £40 I have to have a real think about whether it's worth it, and £50 is a no go regardless.

Well I think he's decent but I want us to sign better than him. If we don't manage to get anyone in then, yes, I wish we would have signed him. But I was there on a Tuesday night in Hartlepool.

Yep, no idea why the other ones were locked, would be nice if this one could be kept going. Quite nice to have a decent thread on here without certain individuals derailing them. It will be interesting to see how Vydra gets on at WBA, personally I think he'll score a few goals but not set the world alight, (similar to JRod last season). Will Bony turn out to be more of a Drogba than an Alfonso Alves? I think he'll slot in really well, and will suit Swanseas style. Carroll and Downing wont have particularly suited us IMO but will do ok for WHU. Rat is a good signing. The others that stand out are Hooper who we have been linked with for years, and Wolfswinkel who seems to be a really good buy for Norwich. Think Cardiff have bought well and it will be interesting to see how the young lad Palace brought in from Peterborough gets on. I think we could do with one or two more but can't say I'm unhappy with the players we have brought in, just hope we can get a striker over the line (Osvaldo).

Yep I agree. Cork and Morgan coming together was hugely important to us last year, surprised how many people don't seem to appreciate how well Cork did last season.
