We weren't that bad defensively last season after about the first 10 games and under Pochettino we didn't let that many goals in - and we've strengthened. I think our defence is good enough but we really need an alternative to Rickie when he's not on it. A top goalscorer could move us up a level. The defence will be ok. IMO.

Do agree with that, when AL, SRL and Connolly were all playing in L1 and NPC some of their link up play was absolutely outstanding.

But you can say the same about Liebherr, apart from we've already got a very good set of young players, Fulham must have the oldest team in the league at the moment? I can see why players would want to go there, but I still think we should be able to persuade players to come to us rather than them, we are a bigger club afterall.

Would say our current first 11 against WBA will be: Boruc; Clyne Lovren Yoshi Shaw; Morgan Wanyama; J-Rod Gaston Lallana; Lambert. Davis Fonte Cork Punch JWP Mayuka Guly And likely to see Isgrove and Chambers often on the bench too IMO

I agree he struggled last season, I'm hoping he can start a fresh this year and now he's got a years experience, it will make him a more effective player.

The things that need to change IMO. 1) Transfer window to shut before the first game of the season. 2) No loans over the age of 20 in the Prem/same division.

Because if the chairman wants us to push on to the Champions League like he has said many times, then we can't be losing top players to clubs on the decline like Fulham. IMO of course.

Generally can't see him coming here at all tbh, but wouldn't be the worst transfer if we did manage to get him. Be surprised if he'd leave Citeh though.
