  1. It's certainly going to be a bit different with the top teams having a shake up, as well as a lot of the middle teams pushing on. Some could collapse like Newcastle did last season, and others could really surprise like WBA did, very exciting! Can't believe it's still over a month away!
  2. Coming from the poster who just talks drivel in every single one of his posts?! I think I'll survive!
  3. Osvaldo would be a massively exciting transfer...but a lot less likely to happen. He is a cracking player, but he has also said he doesnt want to come and known as a bit of a trouble maker. I would be inclined for us to look elsewhere.
  4. Too optimistic I reckon. However I booked my trains last week so hopefully I'll get a ticket ! Sure they'll big demand as a lot of people couldn't do it last year as it was a Monday night! On a sidenote, I'm going from Basingstoke, and it works out SO much cheaper if you get a return to Banbury and then individual singles from Banbury to Birmingham. It's the same train as well so don't actually have to change...worth a think for those going up on the train although not sure if it's the same situation from Southampton.
  5. 3 years ago....yes Lampard was better then, but he's getting on now, not very mobile, and doesn't really contribute that much. Now, I'd rather have Corky, but that's probably more because I thin Cork is so important to the way we play.
  6. Have to agree to disagree then ! Give me Morgan or Corky over him any day.
  7. He's going to Napoli
  8. Not talking about the last five years, I'm talking about now, at his level right now, I'm not conviced he'd play if he was in our squad....always looks so lazy.
  9. Well not sh!t, but hugely overated.
  10. Lampard is sh!t.
  11. Is it though? Personally I don't believe English players (on the whole) have a good enough touch, and also can't pick a pass. I do agree that poor management and tactics are part of it, but big changes are needed at International level for us to get close to the bigger nations.
  12. Have Chelsea given up chase on Ruddy now they've signed Schwarzer ?!
  13. Most interesting one for me will be WBA. Had an excellent season last year, but without Lukaku they may struggle. Anelka is an exciting signing for them but he's 34 now, can't see him playing every week ?
  14. Fact is, that on the whole, English players just aren't technically good enough to compete at the same level, and are massively over priced. More work needs to be done on british youth, but at the moment we're way behind.
  15. You feeling ok? There isn't one sarcastic comment in that??
  16. Why? He's so average and he played for us twice last year I believe.
  17. Might have to rethink Fulham.....$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£
  18. But I thought now we wore plain red we're not seen like that anymore?!
  19. Did he !? arguable....
  20. SouthamptonFC Southampton FC 55s We are delighted to announce that @Luke_shaw3 has signed a new five-year contract on his 18th birthday. #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/CJKyyK7Fp3
  21. Signed....!
  22. I like the look of this lad.
  23. Kelvin Davis, Artur Boruc, Paulo Gazzaniga Calum Chambers, Danny Fox, Luke Shaw, Nathaniel Clyne Dejan Lovren, Jack Stephens, Jordan Turnbull, Jos Hooiveld, José Fonte, (Yoshi) Jack Cork, Morgan Schneiderlin, Steven Davis, James Ward-Prowse (Wanyama) Adam Lallana, Guly, Jason Puncheon, Jay Rodriguez, Lloyd Isgrove (Gaston) Rickie Lambert, Emmanuel Mayuka Yoshi, Wanyama and Gaston to meet up with them next week or something. Still atleast a striker and a winger/attacking mid short IMO. And some decent alternatives to Shaw and Clyne.
  24. 11pm for the echo
  25. Top man, thank you.
