  1. Would say our current first 11 against WBA will be: Boruc; Clyne Lovren Yoshi Shaw; Morgan Wanyama; J-Rod Gaston Lallana; Lambert. Davis Fonte Cork Punch JWP Mayuka Guly And likely to see Isgrove and Chambers often on the bench too IMO
  2. Interesting. Any idea when it'll be shown?
  3. Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook 17m Also vibes are #saintsfc are not interested in Kyle Naughton Probably interested then.
  4. I agree he struggled last season, I'm hoping he can start a fresh this year and now he's got a years experience, it will make him a more effective player.
  5. The things that need to change IMO. 1) Transfer window to shut before the first game of the season. 2) No loans over the age of 20 in the Prem/same division.
  6. Not sure, don't know much about him tbh. he should want to get behind the project FFS.
  7. Because if the chairman wants us to push on to the Champions League like he has said many times, then we can't be losing top players to clubs on the decline like Fulham. IMO of course.
  8. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/417150/Spurs-and-Southampton-set-to-be-disappointed-as-Fulham-edge-ahead-for-Pablo-Osvaldo I would be ****ed off if we lost out to Fulham FFS. However - doesn't have much credibility once I read they're happy for him to go for €8m.
  9. This could be the making of Alpine.
  10. If it is Naughton, then that's an interesting one, can play either side as well. Good player - weren't we after him last year too?
  11. Sky Sports News ‏@SkySportsNews 10m Sky sources: Gonzalo Higuain and Pepe Reina having medicals ahead of moves to Napoli #SSN
  12. Generally can't see him coming here at all tbh, but wouldn't be the worst transfer if we did manage to get him. Be surprised if he'd leave Citeh though.
  13. Can't see Richards coming here to potentially be second choice....
  14. http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/fulham-and-arsenal-interested-in-osvaldo/ Walter Sabatini travelled to England. Roma’s sporting director will meet with Arsenal tomorrow to resolve the Gervinho negotiation. There is optimism, the deal could be completed. In the meantime, Sabatini also likely met with two English clubs to discuss Osvaldo’s future. He spoke to Southampton, but the player has not accepted the destination. Other meetings likely happened with Fulham but also Arsenal.Wenger’s team is looking for a striker since Higuain is very close to joining Napoli, and they could be the surprise team in the Osvaldo race, the player would accept the solution.
  15. http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/higuain-napoli-i-dettagli-economici-delloperazione/ The time to solve the bureaucratic details, and then Gonzalo Higuain will arrive in Naples. The player has reached an agreement with the company blue, will sign a five-year contract to 8.7 million lord
  16. Can he play left back as well??
  17. So why did that fall through? Is he ok for a work permit?
  18. Is that the fella who was gunna sign for Sunderland?
  19. Good. Hopefully we'll pull it off. Any idea if we're pursuing any alternatives just in case it falls through?
  20. I think it'll be a proper full back who can play either side.
  21. @SimonPeach: One caller told me #SaintsFC interested in a versatile right-back, who would seriously challenge Clyne. Expecting story in tomorrow's papers Interesting and welcomed I think. Would be nice to have some backup if Chambers isn't quite there yet.
