Shame the club don't have more retro shirts to buy. Would love to get a proper old school striped shirt. Love the Championship promotion kit, thought its one of the best I've seen us have.

They said last years was 'our best ever seller'....more to do with us being back in the prem though than people actually liking the kit IMO. Hopefully less people buy that monstrosity and we get our stripes back asap.

But that was a one off Centenery year kit. This is more an identity change. I have no problem with the club wanting to do something a bit different every now and again, but last years was scraping the barrell of acceptable, this leak looks like it was designed by a 5 year old with crayons.

Shorts and socks aren't really a massive change from blue to black though. The main part of the kit is the shirt, the other bits i'm not really that bothered about (although our red shorts looked **** this year IMO), really don't understand why people would just accept it. We are Southampton, R+W striped shirts, black shorts, red/white socks. Simple. It's almost like Cortese just has to do a few things a year to just remind everyone who is in charge.

I don't even know why grown men buy it anyway. I buy one if I really like it and if I could do with another shirt to play 5 a side in. Not sure why any grown man would want to go to a game in their shirts on anyway. And why any fan would go to an away game in colours is beyond me.

I think we have to be careful that we don't disrupt the side too much. As much as I don't think Lallana deserved a place in the side at the end of last season, I can certainly see him starting, and if he's not doing it then drag him off. Great to have different options though, and I fully expect us to bring in another wide player to rival him. Be interesting to see whether we bring in another striker or not as well this summer, because if we do, then I expect MP sees J-Rod's role in the '3' rather than up top.

I agree as I feel Morgan and Corks partnership is key for us. Not sure Wanyama would just come in and do Corks job seamlessly.

Pretty much every saints fan I know wants us to play in stripes. Sash was accepted as a one off as it was 125 years, last yrs was accepted but not loved due to it clinging on to being stripes, would hate to just play in red, it's just so **** and boring. SOS

I can't think of a worse kit that would have been red than just a plain red shirt with Adidas stripes on the arms. Utter ****. We're Southampton, we're not Bristol city, Swindon, Crewe, Middlesbrough, Liverpool, we're Southampton and we play in stripes ffs!!! Managed to make a lovely kit in 2012(promotion kit), base it on that!

Don't understand why people would buy it even if they don't like it. Just wear a previous one if you have to wear one?!
