Arsenal fans seem pretty sure it's us at home. Not sure how that works. Wouldn't be an awful fixture, we'll sell out, not too expensive, and a decent away game. Plus we owe them one for the shambles last year.

I think he's ok at the job he does, but how that kind of player is sought after enough to even consider that kind of wage is just awful.

The thing is, you can at least argue that it's linked to stripes. Even last years you can say it was still clinging into the stripes. If we go to a plain red shirt, in no way at all can you attach it to being stripes. It's just another dull boring plain shirt which isn't ours.

It's very unlikely that you're going to find a kit that it so unique that's it just ours. We still play in stripes and have for almost all our history. We wear stripes - we look like Sunderland stoke Exeter brentford Sheffield Utd etc... Play in plain red - we look like man utd, arsenal, Liverpool, Cardiff, and whoever else. We should just stick with tradition, our NPC promotion kit was absolutely lovely, and no reason for us not to have proper stripes. I am surprised how many people are just seeing these red kits and accepting them. Ok some of them are alright, but just not for us. We are Southampton, we play in stripes.

Saw him quite a few times for Boro as got a good mate who is a boro fan. He used to moan about him even when they were in the NPC. Runs around a lot but could play for 5 hours and wouldn't get close to scoring.

Would be very surprised if those clubs were looking at Aliadiere. Was poor at Middlesbrough in the NPC, no reason why he'd be able to make the step up to the prem.
