Find it very odd that Puncheon has gone from probably our first choice in the 'attacking 3' positions, to the 6th. J-Rod, Davis, Lallana, Gaston, Guly, Punch, Mayuka seems to be the pecking order for those 3 positions.
No, because he was very good in the first half of the season, and still so important to us. However the last few games he hasn't been great. If someone isn't playing very well then I'm happy to say it, rather than just moan about him for the last 4 seasons.
Difference is, that when RVP wasn't scoring, others were. With us, if Rickie isn't scoring, then we struggle to score. Whats the answer? I'm not sure, but personally I would get the Clyne/Puncheon partnership back.
Will be a very tough game, but we're probably a better side. Doesn't mean we will go up there and win at ease. We will have to fight bloody hard (and score) to get 3 points. I'm most worried about our goalscoring form tbh.
Whatever happened to premier league grounds? There's not one ground I've been to this season which the home fans can be prou d of their support.
Spurs today....utter ****. Don't hear them til hey scored but our fans done us proud today. Outsung them all game. I am sure 5000 fans at Rochdale would give those Spurs fans a beating today. Is it just the prem or is it just the way the footballing world is these days.
I know our support isn't amazing at home, but at least we make an effort for the first 20 minutes...!!!
Te reason why I think it's a little odd is that the comparison didn't need to be made. Not like they have any bright lights coming through. They have some decent players Noble, Tomkins, Collison but none really stand out.
Before that you're looking at 10+ years for the likes of Ferdinand, Carrick, Lampard, Defoe, Cole.
