Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Ah Flyer is back giving it the biggen now we've lost a few. QPR are ****, we're awful defensively, I'd say there isn't much in it apart from our wage bill is probably a third of yours. -
Cant imagine he'd fit the Barcelona model of playing good football on the floor with flair players and bringing through the youth. If the chairman is committed to this, whether we stay up or not, then I don't think he'll bring him in. I think it's more likely to be a european manager.
-
How the hell have you not been banned yet ?! Christ.
-
To be fair I turned over from 5LIVE to SaintsPlayer because the Leeds love in was annoying me. However I'm certain those which they have mentioned haven't been good enough.
-
Dan Seaborne is utter ****
-
Come on, Seaborne is absolutely dreadful, he was a bottom half L1 defender before his injury FFS. Butterfield has barely played for a year and a half.
-
Like I said, how many starts have they got between them? Yes they're players who want to be in the first team, but that also means theyre going to be rusty. The one with the most starts is probably JWP who is a great prospect, but one of those players who will look better amongst better players. Not sure why people are getting so wound up about this result. I fully expect to lose tonight. As long as we don't get any suspensions or injuries I won't be bothered, whereas when we lose a league game it ruins my whole weekend.
-
It is the reserves though isn't it. How many starts have this lot between them this seasob so far? Can't imagine it's many. Hardly a stupid system either is it. 442 doesnt work, what would you rather we played? 5 in midield? 5 at the back ?
-
Anyone who wants Adkins out because our reserves are losing to a very competitive Leeds side need their heads seeing to. Why are you surprised?
-
TDD give it a rest.
-
Likely to be lots of interchanging tonight between the front 4 seeing as though Lee, Mayuka and Guly can all play wide, in up top. It would be nice to get into the hat for the next round anyway!
-
Guly has played well a lot last season and the whole of this season. Yet our fans still boo him for some unknown reason.
-
LOL!!!!!!! What you said the other day has just lost massive amounts of credibility.
-
I have been playing the Beta and have been doing OK but not great. Gaston has been pretty poor which is a bit of a joke. What happens when I get the full game through the post MLG ? Do you just install it like any other game and start again or what ?
-
Would definitely give Morgan a rest. We're f*cked if he gets injured or sent off.
-
-
Who on here booed Guly when he came on Sunday?
Saint Garrett replied to sotonian's topic in The Saints
I really don't understand why people boo our players, especially when they haven't even got on the pitch. He's been a big part in our promotions, and played our best football last year when he was in the side. Yes he's erratic but he's done nothing wrong this season so far to warrant the abuse he gets from our so called 'fans' -
I don't think Boruc is a 'dud' as such. He wouldn't have had the career he has had if he was, but he has always been known as a bit of a loose cannon.
-
Gazza is a very good young keeper who needs to be playing. Should that be in our side or shall it be out on loan? I'd be surprised if the club are taking this Boruc incident seriously and then let Gazza go out on loan, because we've already admitted Davis isn't good enough hence him being dropped. At present, Gazza is our best keeper, but if he's not going to play for us, then he'd be better off going out on loan and playing games.
-
Someone mentioned last week he'd gone somewhere in India or something?! I think he'd be worth a trial at least. Better than seaborne at the very least!
-
I used to go to Sheff Utd all the time when I was at uni there, and always used to chat to the locals. If you get the wrong bunch then they hate everyone but nothing specifically Southampton related !

Like a greasy chip butty !
