Be interesting to see what happens when Cork is fit, as when Ramirez was playing, we kind of changed our play. Ramirez was in a free role, with 2 'wingers' and a CF so he was taking one of those CM roles. And at Everton we played 4-diamond-2, with the front 2 playing very wide with Ramirez as almost a false 9 position. I don't see Ramirez as a RW but I think it's too narrow if we play both Lallana and Ramirez floating with one up front. Interesting decisions from NA once everyone is fit. (Obviously I'm not counting Tadanari as he's never fit)

The atmosphere at the games, especially the home games has been poor this season. We made more noise when we was in L1 FFS ! Maybe the Prem is just stale.

NA has said that we will play 433, so that is what I expect. Someone mentioned that this has been implemented all the way through the club, not just the first team, so that the younger players get used to the system and know exactly what is expected of them in their role.

I can see why we like to keep things quiet, but there was no statement on promotion which was weird, and lots of stuff has happened which a little statement from the club would have helped the fans understand. Something isn't right.

Harding is 10 times worse than Fox. Good honest player but poor. I miss Deano as I really like him as a player but his first touch let him down, however like others have mentioned I think he was a leader in the dressing room and a pretty dependable player. However, if cork and Gaston were fit, he prob not even get on the bench as NA wanted there to be a pathway for JWP.

Rumour has it Dembele might be injured for this. Thats one down....

Has it been 'rocking' once this season though? It certainly wasn't against both Fulham and Wigan. Villa yes but only once we were winning, and I don't know about Man Utd as I couldn't make it. There seems to be an attitude at games I've been to this season that we try and sing at the start, then we sing until we concede, and then it's quiet. Its what happened on Saturday and it's what happened vs Everton. We need to sing our hearts out when we're losing or in need of a goal, thats when the team needs us most. Whats done is done, but the team needs us.

They clearly worked on marking Lambert though, because as soon as he came on they focused on him. I think it was a decent move to surprise the oppo by starting J-Rod. It's a tough one really, Yes Lambert is our talisman, but you can't seem to be too predictable in this league as if we do the same things every week, we'll get to the point where the goals dry up as well.

Right, Ok we've had some poor results. Yes our team is probably not good enough. Yes we should have strengthened the defence in the summer, BUT we can't affect that now. It's time to get behind the team. How did we get results the last few seasons ? How did we stay up all the way through the 90's when it looked impossible? Everyone got behind the team and made a racket. The togetherness in the last few seasons brought us up and the fans are needed. If we are going to stay up our home form will be critical. Let's get St Mary's rocking on Sunday, sell out crowd, make lots of noise and make it an intimidating place for teams to come to. Until Nigel has been dismissed, we owe him to get behind him and the philosophy and the team. It's time to come together and be the 12th man. COYS!

Would definitely take him on a short term deal until the end of the season. He's not great, and 35, but still better than our current defenders, plus he can play LB or CB which would be a bonus.

Wasn't really the signings that shone Saturday though was it. Diame is a cracking player, but was dreadful Saturday. Carroll didn't do anything of note. Collins isn't very good and just booted it to Carroll. The thing which has made it easier to step up, is the fact that the majority of their squad last year underperformed as they had a squad full of players who played in the prem for the majority of their career. Noble, Nolan, Cole etc. the majority of the players we have were playing for us in L1 or their highest level was the Championship before this season. It's no surprise theyre taking time to adjust but we need results now

There was rumours of everyone wearing the LJS t-shirt as well next weekend to the game. Not sure if this is still happening. Have so much respect for Billy though, more than happy to give him a minutes applause.

There is nothing wrong with 4231, and it will work, just need to cut out the mistakes.

Thing is if we play 442 we'll get over run in the middle of midfield like we did Vs Wigan. I'm not sure what the answer is but I don't think it's that.

Jrod looked very lively yesterday, I was impressed with him, but we have a problem in that we've spent 6m on a good player, but nowhere to play him.

He's more valuable to us than he's probably worth financially in the last few seasons we have struggled when he isn't playing, top player.

For the millionth time on here, prem clubs cannot loan players outside of the transfer window.
