I don't think we should give him a huge contract, but I do agree everyone needs to get behind him as we have been doing. I have got to say though, come December, if we're in the bottom 3 it'll be hard to see him still here.

I'd say it was our worst display of the season yesterday. Just didnt get our game going. Ok Arsenal was prety bad but atleast we passed the ball a lot, despite the incompetant defending. Yesterday we just looked pretty poor all over the pitch.

Lambert was taken off because we needed to harry Fulham. J-Rod was superb at closing down their defenders and has great energy. Lambert was playing in that hole, where Guly gave us a little bit more bite and energy. I can see why Lambert was brought off but at the same time, our team as a whole seems a lot more comfortable when he is on the pitch and he does give us a good outlet as he can hold it up.

Whats the point in having a poll...Anyone who wants him sacked is a total tool. Are we going to get this every time we dont win a game ?!

Confidence is also playing a part. Fonte is slowly improving and this is probably down to confidence, those goals today will have done him the world of good. Jos looked very shaky though, but had to deal the hand we were dealt i.e. injuries. Looked a lot more solid as a unit today though, helped by Lallana and Puncheon being a lot more disciplined positionally than they have been.

I had a dead leg once, it lasted about 5 minutes. I hope Gaston will be ok for West Ham

Surprised how few people noticed Davis today, I thought he was absolutely superb.

Either Steven Davis or Fonte. Fonte has stepped up considerably since Yoshida has come in.

Would be a huge ask for Shaw to come in and have his prem debut on a 'must win game'. Also if Schneiderlin isn't fit, why risk him. JWP isn't a bad player he can do a job in there as can Fox.
