Some Tweets Saying We Have Borrowed Against Future Season Ticket Sales
Saint Garrett replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Well I'd say our most valuable players are probably J-Rod, Ramirez, Lallana and Schneiderlin. They must all have contracts fr a few years yet !? -

But the worrying thing is IF the unthinkable happens and we go down, what then?! -

I studied Corporate Finance at uni (just last year) but not hugely up on it. Pretty much every company has debt. But I do think it is a bit more worrying in our case as we always thought we were being bankrolled, so it's either free money for the estate or we're paying money to raise this finance. However, if the estate are taking 'dividends' out of the company anyway then debt it actually cheaper for the club, although it is initially worrying, there's no point getting suicidal about it as we don't know any of the details around it. -

LOL@you thinking you were ITK about Clyne. -
He's played in every game since he signed ?!

Would expect it to be a sell out in both home and away sections. I will be going there and coming home with about 8 West Ham fans so it will be a bloody long day if we don't get a result.

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed?

Chaplow isn't disciplined enough to play a defensive role though. This is why he hasnt played CM for us for a good few seasons now. -

Definitely worth looking on YouTube as well for hints and tips about how to improve your swing, and also look at pros and try to copy their swing. That will get you so far. I've never had lessons and I hit on average about 105. Not great and I probably need lessons/new clubs/more practicing putting to help me dip below 100. I wouldn't go and spunk 200 quid on a set of clubs if you've never played before, because you may not get into it and enjoy it and then it's just a waste of money. I always used to just use my dads old clubs and bought myself a driver and a putter. I would say that don't just buy any driver, as you need to find out your natural swing first. There are certain clubs which will help your swing to left or right.

Taxi for Guly- Up north as far as possible

Amazing the crap that Talksh*t comes up with. He mentions that he wants to end his career in Brazil and suddenly he's homesick and wants out. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/121003/homesick-guly-longs-brazil-return-182267 -

Ramirez is our link between teh holding midfielders and attack, as are the wide midfielders. Also on Saturday we started with Rodriguez playing RF and Lambert playing LF, with them both pretty much playing on Everton's RB and LB. It was a good game plan in theory and it left Ramirez to float, but those 2 players didnt do that job successfully for very much of the game, it worked for the first 25 minutes as I remember Lambert putting in a tackle in the LB postiion early on, but it wasn't natural to them. As long as we're learning we'll get there -
Long-Ball - Does it work? Who does it the most?
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
An aimless 'long ball' from CB to CF is completely different to a 'long ball' across the back, or a 'long ball' down the wing for a player to run into. All it says is that it is a pss of more than 25 yards. -

So what counts as a 'long ball' ? -

I miss Guly -
It is a joke that they're allowed to bring in these players though to be fair. What other L1 clubs would sign players like Buszaky and Brian Howard. They should be left to pick up the dregs that noone else wants not outbit fellow teams.

Yes, but that was a tad different, we were playing a CM out right midfield. Schneiderlin is never going to be a very good right midfielder. -

I agree With Cork, Morgan and Davis playing in the CM roles, Ramirez and Lallana wide of Lambert, we will be a lot tighter IMO. JWP is a cracking little player, but I think we need to be careful playing him every week in a losing side. -
Big problem with Reeves is that he is so small, so any manager is going to target that as a weakness.
-
Their game plan was wack it long and feed off mistakes/miscontrols/knockdowns, or just boot it into the flanks for the forwards to chase down. I thought they were poor, but had a game plan and are very well drilled at it.

Get the impression this is why we wanted this Kana-Biyik guy, as he's supposedly a bit of a unit.

I don't think our home support is amazing, but it's not that bad either. Atleast our fans try and have a go the majority of the games. After going to both Everton and Arsenal, I can safely say we're considerably better than them.
