  1. Yep thats probably the person who got my ticket for me !
  2. Although I agree to an extent Steve, sometimes it is not possible for people to do that, especially those who live out of Southampton. I don't think my work would take a valid excuse of...'Oh sorry I'm 2 hours late, I had to go to Southampton and queue for tickets for a football match'
  3. Nice little interview with him here. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/8108141 Southampton's new Uruguayan star Gaston Ramirez insists the club's eagerness to sign him was the primary factor in his decision to join the club. Ramirez joined the Saints in a club record deal from Italian side Bologna over the summer, but he only made his first start at the weekend - inspiring them to a 4-1 win over Aston Villa. The Fray Bentos-born winger is now more than happy with his decision to have moved to St Mary's. "The only concrete, real and direct offer was the Southampton one," he told Tuttomercatoweb. "They wanted me strongly and this convinced me to accept. "I wanted to play in England, a league that I always liked. Here I have had an interesting opportunity, Southampton believe in me. "We are a young team, we want to do well and we have the potential to do it: we are experiencing slowly, we need time but I am confident." Settling Ramirez says he is quickly settling into life in England. "My life in England? I don't speak the language yet, so I do have a little problem but I have team-mates who speak Spanish or Italian like Do Prado, so I am well integrated in the group." He says he has no regrets about the way in which he left former club Bologna. "I was fine in Bologna: people cuddled me and I thank them so much: I gave all my best for Rossoblu side and I carry their fans in my heart," he said. "But there are situations that you don't know. [bologna President Albano] Guaraldi called me 'unfair', but the truth is that he lied to me twice. "He never talked to my face, he did nothing to make me stay. He didn't keep his promises." .
  4. XFM or Absolute radio for me.
  5. I still think he has a long way to go, but the more performances like Villa and less like Arsenal and he will get back in the good books with the fans. I still believe that he is one or two sh*t performances away from being our scapegoat.
  6. Just got mine without much of a problem. Had to wait about 5 minutes to get into the website but apart from that it went very well.....now wait til the tickets go to teh wrong address or dont arrive at all...
  7. Wow you're the best at starting threads.
  8. I would have thought they would release ticket details and say they'll go on sale to people so many points, then the next lot go on sale to this many etc. But at the moment they're just saying what games we'd have to have gone to, which to me says that they havent found a way of monitoring them online yet which is why we cant see our running total. Seems very poor really as I'm sure that would be easier.
  9. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8107106/ Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are chasing Southampton defender Danny Butterfield on loan. Butterfield has found himself down the pecking order at St Mary's this season with summer signing Nathaniel Clyne first-choice right-back. The 32-year-old has only made one first-team appearance in the Capital One Cup win over Stevenage. Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is now considering loaning out Butterfield so that he can get some action under his belt with the defender keen to be playing on a regular basis. Championship duo Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday are both thought to have made enquiries about taking the former Crystal Palace man on a short-term basis. Birmingham are keen to bring in a new right-back after losing Stephen Carr and Paul Caddis to injury, while Dave Jones is keen to add to his defensive options at Hillsborough. .
  10. If he is 100% fit and ready then play him, but I think he needs to get used to his back 4, get up to speed again and earn his way into the side.
  11. Although I agree that he will become our no 1, it would be incredibly harsh on Gazza if he were to be dropped after his performance on Saturday, especially seeing as though Boruc hasn't played a game for however long. Think Gazza will start at Everton and maybe Boruc vs Fulham.
  12. I always look out for Bournemouth scores, hope they win every week, especially when we normally have players on loan down there. Definitely not a 'rival'.
  13. Kevin Davies ?
  14. its up there now.
  15. I wouldn't be happy if I was a WHU fan and had to pay that much to watch that dross every week!
  16. They always do deals on their tickets, its why their fans all boast about how amazing their support is...
  17. http://www.villatalk.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=73612&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=90 They really thought we were that **** then, that we're a 'championship team' and a 'poor side'. We're far superior to them all over the park IMO,
  18. Great service in the lower leagues or if you don't get to go to games. If you have sky plus I wouldn't bother unless you dont live locally and can listen on the radio.

  20. Ah my bad, It was early !! Would start Gazza as I think he'll benefit from match time, and he didn't have to do a lot on Saturday. Take out Chaplow out that 12, and you have the team for me. Gazza Richardson Yoshida seaborne shaw ------------JWP--------Cork---------- Mayuka----------guly-----------------lee ------------------Rodriguez---------------
  21. Pahars used to get a few, but a few were certainly missed on our 'dark days' I seem to remember us missing 2 in one game once.

  23. One of those players whose tackling makes up for him losing the ball as he often wins it back. Was awful at times in the 1st half but scintillating in the second going forward.....just annoying that sometimes we won't be attacking and got a big question. Mark n that area as he's not been great. Stil he's young and will improve!
  24. My dads not happy....5er on 3-1 at 20s! Don't think I've ever seen him want to save pen!
  25. He's far too good for us. Lets enjoy watching a player of this quality while we cab
