Why is this thread still even going. lock it, I don't want to talk about that saggy faced c*nt -
Surely NA's not going to be very happy !!!

Where did you hear that from? Interesting if true.

The club have been advertising this game far far more than they have done for any game in recent history. I've had about 5 emails from them telling me tickets are still available.
-
It is a fantastic if you can't go to that many games for whatever reason, and/or we're in the lower leagues therefore the coverage is restricted. When I was at Uni in Sheffield (last 4 years) it was superb, as I could watch extended highlights rather than 1 min of highlights on teh FLS. But now I am back home, have a season ticket and some spare money to go to more away games, along with MOTD, SSN, Football First, plus plenty of other places to watch the highlights, I don't think I'm going to renew when mine runs out in February. Even the SaintsPlayer interviews get played on BBC or SSN, so it is just becoming a bit of an uneccessary expense. Add to that the awful new website and It's not worth it.

Also the press love Redkrapp.....Redkrapp was the skates manager and he stole the FA Cup while there....probably has something to do with why they have a like for the skates. And other teams fans thought 'poor old pompey' to begin with, but now it's 'theyre getting what they deserve'.
-
I am surprised the videos aren't HD quality really, there is no reason why they shouldn't be. The filming for MOTD is done in HD so why aren't the SaintsPlayer videos? Wasn't this why they raised the price not so long ago?

I think both our wide players last weekend were very poor. Along with Lambert. Puncheon just didn't really track back either which atleast Adam does try and get stuck in.
-
Not many Saints fans think we're a 'big' club, we're little old Southampton. I can't be bothered to respond in a deeper way as I'm at work.

Wouldn't be as bad if we hadn't sold the tickets at the top of the Kingsland, but when it's tickets at the bottom of the stands in front of the goal, it's embarrassing.

I miss Guly
-
So why have we, how have we not sold out yet FFS !???
-
The thing with Puncheon is that he isn't reliable. He will have 1 good game and 5 bad. Even Guly is more reliable than him, I miss Guly.
-
Punch IMO was by far our worst player on Saturday.

Saints and Brighton just the same......

He's changed. -
Had a good game Vs Man Utd, has been awful in the others.
-
Just watching the interview which is on SaintsPlayer. Noticed Ryan Dickson is amongst the squad....option for Saturday? Can't see it but....

I think Nixon is Cortese.

Wilfred Zaha - Crystal Palace (linked in The Sun)

Is this going to turn into another racist debate!? -
Thats quite clearly a joke, he's about 90.

Really cannot see us starting with 2 CM first starts tbh. Cork's first game back will be Sheff Weds IMO. For Villa, either play Schneiderlin, Davis, W-P with Ramirez in a more advanced role, or play Schneiderlin and Davis deeper and let Ramirez play in behind the striker.

Will be a good play, still very hit and miss however. I watched him closely on Sky when they played Charlton, and he had flashes of brilliance but also a lot of crap. Would help him to stay and play in the NPC until the summer IMO and then move on next year to a team where he will be playing week in week out for in the Prem. -
Wouldn't be surprised if WHU go back in for him. Think he'd do a good job at Arsenal if Giroud is a bit of a failure as well. Maybe Liverpool?

I think every man and his dog could see that we needed to bring in a keeper who was atleast going to compete with Davis for a starting place this year. Same goes for the defence. For whatever reason, we failed to bring in the players we wanted. - I would guess the defender was Rhys Williams, and then a day before the transfer window closes he goes and gets another long term injury. The keeper situation, I just do not know but I'd be very surprised if we settled for the fact that Davis with Gazza as backup would be enough.
