  1. Put this on the main board but........ I am going up after work from Basingstoke, (probably around 4/5pm), and coming back on Sunday evening. Would be open to lift sharing as I'll be heading up on my own. PM me if anyone is interested.
  2. Oh right, I've only sat in the home end at Goodison, went there for Everton Vs Chelsea a few years ago last day of the season. Good view from near the top of the side stand, but looked rather restricted from the away end. Liklihood I'll be too ****ed to care anyway! Hopefully it'll be a better result than Saturday !
  3. Got mine this morning in the Lower Bullens. Should be a good day out anyway.
  4. Isn't the lower bullens pretty awful view though !?
  5. I wasn't even expecting us to score against City, Utd and Arsenal, So we're probably one point behind where I thought we would be but the goal difference about the same. I think it's quite funny how people on this board were saying all summer 'wait until after the Arsenal game and we're bottom for the meltdown on here'. Precisely that has happened. I'm a little concerned, but not overly worried, I'd be a lot more worried if we'd got 1 more point, but played WHU's fixtures!
  6. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA What have you been smoking? Wake up !!!!!!!!!
  7. I think it was the original setup which was fine, but then one or two passes and the whole of our midfield was bypassed.
  8. Oh right, fair enough, No doubt he would be a good addition to us, but we all know how stubborn Cortese is.
  9. Thought our CM was poor for our goals on Sat. Was the first game that JWP looked out of his depth for me, maybe he needs to be bedded in a bit more carefully rather than just throwing him in week in week out. Davis wasn't great and Schneiderlin had his worst game for us in the middle. That was the big problem, Arsenal just completely ran the game in the middle between Cazorla, Chambo, Podolski and Gervinho, along with Coquelin and Arteta. Although there is no doubt that midfield will do that to a lot of teams this season!

  11. Where are these 'rumours'? I just dont see it as the way we go about business by admitting that we got it wrong in the transfer window.
  12. That would be annoying as I haven't bought mine yet!
  13. Not a lot really! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darren_Kenton Years Team Apps† (Gls)† 1996–2003 Norwich City 158 (9) 2003–2006 Southampton 29 (0) 2005 → Leicester City (loan) 10 (0) 2006–2008 Leicester City 33 (2) 2008 → Leeds United (loan) 4 (0) 2008 Leeds United 12 (0) 2008–2009 Cheltenham Town 13 (1) 2009–2010 Rochester Rhinos
  14. To be fair I think him and Diamanti played in behind their forward at Bologna. So would have thought he can play left, right or centre. Ideally we'll have players who can all interchange so they don't have a set position as such. Also, we already have Adam who his best position is on the left, and Puncheon isn't great, plus we don't play with an attacking CM.
  15. Id rather have Fonte, Upson is utter dog
  16. Why would he come here ? Why would our chairman appoint him? Why would we want him?
  17. First time I've watched the goals since I was there sat, one thing I picked up was it seemed it was 1 pass took out our whole midfield with no one really tracking back.
  18. Cazorla, Gervinho, Podolski and less so Chamberlain, completely tore us to bits with their fluid movement and pace, and also the little intricate passing. They will score against anyone when play like that, but we did give them the opportunity to do so.
  19. Same as always though isnt it....when a player is out of the team, they suddenly get better and better in peoples eyes, until they return and then realise they're really not that great. I.E. Chaplow. I've even seen Guly's name get a mention in regards to this !
  20. Going to drive up on the Friday afternoon/evening after work from Basingstoke and going to return Sunday afternoon. Will be on my own, so if anyone wants to car share and it fits around these times then PM me and try and sort something out. Chris
  21. Went on a bit of a pub crawl in the end. Went to The Salisbury to start with, thought it was very nice little pub but only stopped for one and was only a few people in there. Then went to the Porterhouse in Covent Garden as I told my dad it is amazing - plus it meant could watch a bit of the cricket as well. Then went to Angel and went to the Nags Head, and then walked up upper street to the Hope and Anchor, Afterwards went to a pub by Highbury station, was a good day out int he sun, just a shame we didnt get the result! (or the performance !)
  22. The irony of a QPR fan telling us how we should be investing our money. LOL
  23. The only reason I go on the OS is to attempt to book away tickets and that is enough effort as it is ! The articles generally get copied onto here anyway. It has been mentioned that they are bringing out a smartphone design shortly, lets hope it is easier to use than the PC version!
  24. Reading fans are an embarrassment to be fair. They are just awful.
  25. With all the extra money being brought in next season, I'd agree with the fact it is hugely important to our club to stay up.
