  1. The only place we don't have PL quality is left back.
  2. Sounds horrible tbf.
  3. But Fulham took an initial 1500 I think, then they requested another 700 or something.
  4. Aren't we entitled to 10% or 3000 whichever is fewer ? There is no mention of it being an 'initial allocation'.
  5. Yep. and now a lot of other media outlets are also reporting it, probably based on that article. How can they be sure it's that long? Can imagine they cant gather a prediction until the swelling has reduced.
  6. This problem may have added to the fact there are always gaps at the bottom of the stands. When I first used it, I didn't even realise you could scroll down, I just thought that was the front of the stand and didnt think anything of it.

  8. Interesting that our only win was with the most long balls. The thing with those stats is that it doesn't tell you what a 'long ball' is. We're probably playing narrower away so therefore our players are closer together. Also I would guess we've made more passes when we're at home, therefore there will be more log balls, a better stat would be a percentage of our passes that are 'long balls'
  9. duplicate post
  10. Supposedly for a while (Christmas has been rumoured). Might mean a start for that SKATE Taylor and we can get him sent off again
  11. Homeland is quality, first episode of second series was on last night. Entourage and Californication are such easy watching and so many attractive women in them! Is there still talk of an Entourage film being released ? Prison Break is awesome, watched all of them twice through now. And Band of Brothers and the Pacific are epic viewing. Never seen the Wire, and Dexter I started watching but just couldnt get into it for some reason.
  12. Can't see us getting anything out of this one tbh. They're nothing special, but they're very physical and will use those tactics to bully us out the game. Need to stop supply from Jarvis and have to keep Carroll away from the ball as much as possible. But I expect he's thinking that if he could choose anyone to play next to score against, it would be us as we're dodgy in defence.
  13. What about away from home? Can we afford him and Gaston in the same side ?
  14. No, I don't rate players who just run around a lot. I just think there is a lot of abuse thrown Fox's way, because of the lack of cover Lallana provides. I'm not saying he's a bad player at all.
  15. I agree, he is one of our best players, but like you say, I don't think he's amazing at CM, and at LF I think he struggles. I still think he's coming to terms with teh league and the fact he's getting much less space, but i'd be interested to see what percentage of his passes are completed compared to other players in those attacking positions.
  16. I don't mean drop him forever, I just mean for one game. At the moment he probably feels that he is undroppable. Just an idea.
  17. I've seen this mentioned a couple of times across this forum. Ok, probably when Ramirez is injured he will start as we need someone with creativity in there. But for me, he's not looked great since he has been given the armband. Is he too comfortable? Are we expecting too much from him ? Is he playing in his most effective position? Discuss...
  18. Not at all. J-Rod offers so much more than Sharp.
  19. Yet you've just started a thread about bringing in Redkrapp....
  20. I don't think we should give him a huge contract, but I do agree everyone needs to get behind him as we have been doing. I have got to say though, come December, if we're in the bottom 3 it'll be hard to see him still here.
  21. So this record was finally lost yesterday. Shame but a cracking record all the same.
  22. Although I can see why they don't mention it, It is annoying that the fans are kept so far in the dark about who is fit.
  23. I'd say it was our worst display of the season yesterday. Just didnt get our game going. Ok Arsenal was prety bad but atleast we passed the ball a lot, despite the incompetant defending. Yesterday we just looked pretty poor all over the pitch.
  24. Lambert was taken off because we needed to harry Fulham. J-Rod was superb at closing down their defenders and has great energy. Lambert was playing in that hole, where Guly gave us a little bit more bite and energy. I can see why Lambert was brought off but at the same time, our team as a whole seems a lot more comfortable when he is on the pitch and he does give us a good outlet as he can hold it up.
