It's not a case of that, Bizzle comes across as a sour litle fecker who didn't make the grade due to his injury. I could've been the best if only I didn't get that injury blah blah blah. I played against Gillett once and had the better of him, I should be the pro. And the latest classic, "I'm nearly as experienced as Pardew". lol Ah yes, ok, you have the coaching badges *apparently*. So now you're as experienced as a pro with the same badges? Does that make a driver who has passed their test today as experienced and as someone who has had their licence for 20 years? Is a soldier who has just passed basic training "as good" as a veteran of the Gulf War who has been in combat situations? Two words spring to mind, bitter and twisted.
  2. It has to be said defensively, they look good. Midfield and upfront are where the problems come.
  3. FF, I think that's just playing with words. The point is he did stump up 12m quid to buy the club and the debts are cleared/settled, delete as appropriate. I did have an interesting conversation with an ex colleague in Geneva though, when ML bought the club the exchange rate was at a historic low. If it goes back to the £1 = 2.2CHF historic level's he'll have made a couple of million £ on the exchange rate alone. Small change for a man of his level of wealth, but £2m is not to be sniffed at. When we reach the prem (uh hum!) the figures will be very very large.
  4. Well Adam Leitch still reckons were still trying to sign 3 players today. 1h 34minutes to go guys, pull your fingers out!
  5. with loans being allowed for another week?
  6. That doesn't sound that far fetched, he's young and French. Two ticks in the box for Arsene!
  7. We've been through this last week, for whatever reason AP does not rate Gillett, he's seen him in training. Maybe he just doesn't fit in with APs preferred style in a central midfield role. Whatever the reason it seems he's on his way, I don't see it as dissapointing, an opportunity for Gillett and for AP to get someone else into the club possibly. FWIW, lots of players leave clubs to goto higher levels and never make it. I saw a rumour today that Spurs were going to loan Bale to a CCC side, Chris Baird dropping down to CCC potentially, Cranie off to Coventry. With Gillett it's a gamble, he may well "make it" but according to J Bizzle he's crap anyway :-)
  8. It is legal and above board, but not very clever if the rich benefactor fecks off. I guess it's highly unlikely in this case, but if they did I'd hazard a guess that County couldn't cover Sven's and Cambell's wages on their gate receipts let alone the rest of the squad.
  9. Now where are all of our Pompey friends..... They seem to have disappeared since the takeover was announced.
  10. Not only is Bizzle a very intelligent young fella he was also an amazing footballer until injury put paid to his career. Now he turns out for a lowly Wessex League side. He once played against Gillett and can confirm he'e ****. He won't give out the name of the super dooper side he did play for though. In fact Wiltshire, I think I prefer your irksome little **** desciption better.
  11. The pass % has been increasing year on year since 1988, the first year of GCSEs. Says it all to me I'm afraid. I've no doubt the students are studying harder and thinks may have improved in schools, but year on year increases are hard to swallow without thinking things in the background are changing. As an aside, anyone know why the grade % change year on year? Why isn't it just 75% + for a grade A, 60 for a B, 45 for a C?
  12. We can't be sure I guess, but given we're not servicing the mortgage or overdraft any more I'd be suprised if we're not breaking even. Not sure what the figures were for those two debts from the accounts, I'm sure someone has them.

So we played Millwall, Lazio, Exeter, Bournemouth and Eastleigh. Which one is it! I'm guessing not Lazio! So lets go for Eastleigh or Bournemouth as I can't see Saints sending out a reserve team against the others.

I don't understand your reluctance to name the side you were playing for.

So if he's so **** Bizzle why is he playing professional football while you're at Uni? Everyone knows how hard is it to make the grade as a pro, he obviously did something right as a youngster while we had lots of good young players coming through. That said, I think all of the *****ing on here is irrelevant, if he were as good as some have said he'd be starting every week, AP obviously begs to differ! Same thing used to be said by the fans when Telfer started every week, GS as a professional saw something we didn't (I'm still not sure what :-D )
  16. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=entry I've just been onto the fishboys site to see if there is official news, guess what, nowt. The league table they're showing is the final one from last season!! Obviously not too happy about being shown as bottom with 0 points from 3 games. lol
  17. Well that's good news then, because I'm sure we all feel he hasn't got a pot to **** in, whereas Storrie Teller may have been able to get some cash!
  18. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/aug/25/portsmouth-hereford-united-carling-cup The chief executive hopes to announce today that his proposal to buy the club has been successful. "I will give you more details once the takeover is complete but, believe me, this is good news for all of us." Good news for you Storrie on 2m per year!
  19. On what basis is that good? Not that I think it will be affected.
  20. If in doubt buy stuff from John Lewis is the answer for customer service. So the TVs for example are a bit more expensive but they through in the 5 year guarantee unlike Currys, Comet ETC. And when you take things back they atually deal with the issue!
  21. That said I work for a company in the UK who have about 10,000 Dell laptops and desktops as they're our preferred supplier. No doubt we have issues with some but Dell generally are good. I've had two laptops that worked quite happily for 4 years each.
  22. Did you know that Kadeem was also a very good snooker player on the circuit until Carpal Tunnell Syndrome put paid to that profession for him :-)
  23. Kadeem, get a grip please. I've read all of these posts and you're coming across as a pillock with these paedophile jibes. As for St Will, he thinks Tiger Woods is the greatest sportsman of all time. lol.
  24. It was all about greed Arizona. The US didn't like the fact that their oil supply could potentially be disrupted. They entered a war (against a nutter don't get my wrong) for OIL supplies, not because they felt sorry for poor little Kuwait. There have been other invasions or countries ignoring UN directives that the US didn't go in to quash.
  25. Oh please do get in the real world, this sort of **** happens with every nation. Don't you find it amazing that the majority of the rebuilding contracts for Iraq have gone to US companies. I'm not saying it's right, but this is not the first decision made to oil (pardon the pun) the wheels of industry. Tell me gulf war one with thousands killed wasn't for oil? Thats aside from the fact that there is a real doubt about the whole conviction.
