All quiet on the takeover front for Pompey, not a good sign when selling players such as Johnson l and letting them go at end of contract. Davis to Bolton for free when you could have had 3.5m 6 months ago. Mind you if he was instrumental in keeping you up I guess that's a small price to pay. Is your takeover going as well as ours!

I was under the impression that DmG had wanted to move back to the Midlands for some time now for personal reasons. I guess it doesn't help that we're a league one side either! I agree about the price Mole, a lot of cash for a club about to go into liquidation.

It's not Fry's choice to accept a lower price, that has to be approved by Aviva and Barclays. I guess he might get some direction from them later in the week if things aren't going well.....

To be fair GM voices concerns about everyone all of the time! This time is was unjustified as he didn't know who the mystery backer was. All he could do was voice concerns about Pinnacle as a company which was justified given their size. I wonder what GMs take would be now on a retirement homes company taking us over. They haven't got a pot to **** in would be a commonly used phrase. lol.
