http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=187158 Great reading, Storrie to resign as he can't take any more of the circus....

Sussex, I take my 6 year old in the Kingsland, block 35. Not alot of swearing (apart from when his dad is frustrated!) and a great atmosphere. Chapel is a good starting point though but I'm not sure about atmosphere and involvement down there, my lad loves the singing.

Absolutely, take my son and two older girls when I can. First took him at 5, but he fell asleep during the Derby home game :-) He's 6 now he's really into it and doesn't just go for the Coke and sweets! At the Yeovil game he was giving it the full OWTSGMI, funny as you like. Oh and I guess I had to take his as his god father is a Skate and was rumoured to be taking him to FP and buying him a Pompey kit. Like most Pompey fans going to FP was a step to far. lol

On the build up to the Spuds Chelsea game they mentioned that Spuds have not won away against the big 4 since '93 in the league. I remember a win at Anfield, just not sure when. Anyone know the last time we won against the big 4 away from SMS/The Dell? (yes I know I'm lazy)!

I preferred 606 on Sunday. "I'm sick to death of people harping on about Chelsea's 100% record, what about Pompey! PUP, Bob IOW". Fair play to him for laughing at their current form!

Get in block 35, best atmosphere in the ground apart from Northam and you can actually sit down to watch the game.
-
Not that hard when the ref has blown the whistle though is it!!
-
The best line in that article is the last one.... "Land reclamation work is tentatively scheduled for 2008, with construction of the stadium to begin next year" LMFAO indeed!

I believe you also have to take along proof of address......

mmmmmm, that'll be why they're at the bottom of the university league tables with a zero or low score for academic research!
-
Wimborne, is there nothing in JPMorgan for you? Not sure what skills you have but will happily put for forward for anything of interest. If you PM me some details of skills I could have a look to see what's available.

A very good read and it proves just how fecked they are financially. They're only just breaking even now with the **** poor squad. Unless they get some finance in before Jan transfer window things aren't looking rosy.
-
Any other forum members going today? I can't fecking wait :-D

He reminds me very much of Anders Svennson. Good touch, vision and passing but dissapeared at times during games and wasn't consistent. That said Morgan is very young and will only improve as a player, lets hope it's with Saints!

Charlton games have more trouble than most of our others. Nothing on the scale of W Ham Millwall or our Pompey games though.
-
2-1 for me as well. Lambert to score both, one a pen!

anyone go any updates from the ticket office as to how many have been sold?

The fat Spanish waiter is the most over-rated manager in the Prem. An awful eye for players if you look at the players they've signed and the cash outlay. Another reason I dislike them is their style of play, it did switch at the end of last season and they were watchable when they played with a more attacking lineup.
-
Absolutely right, he drove them into this position as chief architect along with Redknapp and then proclaims himself as the second coming! Lets keep reminding the Skates of the fact that he takes 1.5m per year for this role (seen that figure somewhere). It's not really surprising that he didn't throw his toys out of the pram when the Dr took over, why leave that gravy train behind of your own choice! Easy Money.

+1 Very dissapointed.

The truth at last, they were very very fortunate to avoid administration. I'm sure Corp won't be on here for a while now given this insight by Storrie. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8235070.stm

Hey, I'm at work and can't see the Youtube link, but suffice to say Delgado looked great as well. lol

Unfortunately I agree, strong defensively with potential for some goals even from that midfield/front line against weaker teams. I'm still holding out the hope that these signings just prolong things and they go down on the last day of the season on goal difference :-) Very interesting to see what happens between now and the Jan transfer window. If they're struggling will they splash the 50p they have left (unless the good Dr finds 10m from somewhere).
