  1. baj, you know where i work, do you remember the dining hall? great parking, double doors for easy loading straight from vehicles, drinks machine, neighbours a decent distance away (as long as you dont go mental, FREE wireless internet and accesss to the sweetshop. Oh yeah and a PA system which I know not how powerful it is, but iirc the volume goes right up to 11! If you think it might suit your needs and can offer a token payment i could have a chat with the people who make important decisions for you. Just say the word.
  2. Paul, hope you received the message I sent you yesterday. I had replied to you via one of my 'other' e-mail addresses, hence did not read your replies until it was too late and I had let them go elsewhere. I know that you were really looking forward to going and for that reason I apologise unreservedly. Please tell me that i am forgiven. hamster DSM, hope that mrs DSM had a nice time?

  4. I seem to recall that in the first few games teams were shutting him out with a constant 2 players on him, now it appears that he's not seen as such a threat and is resorting to running through more often (almost unmarked on occasion). He worked his socks off last season and I for one would not be against giving him a short sabbatical and hopefully he can come back better and stronger. i think he's both physically and mentally tired. btw, people wanting to see Chambo start might want to consider that he might be more effective when the opposition are tiring. maybe RL coming off the bench might work better too?
  5. Swap deal for Rickie?

  7. And a couple of real beauts coming up soon: Bit pricey for the Tory-LibQuisling bashed amongst us but maybe one of our 'I'm alright Dave' fans could find some spare wonga down the back of their Chesterfield? 8. You will have to be quick but there's an auction TODAY which includes a couple of 1944 saints progs: http://www.the-saleroom.com/catalogues/Item.aspx?itemId=9819966&eventId=2801639 Lot 14 You need to register but it's a live auction so for the collector I'm sure they would be of interest.
  9. /\ Agreed Rickie - replacable (at this level) Adam - irreplacable (at this level)
  10. Punch pulled them wide in the first 15, then was told by NA to get inside, donl;t know why as it was looking like us taking the lead, he was pulling 2 of their players with him and laying odff some good balls. people wanting him to chase back, collect, pass, cross and score all at the the same time are deluded, he's actually having to adapt to the lower expectations of this lower league and sadly some just don;t realise that he is just the type of player who will we will need next season (promotion permitting). There's an old saying about the harder one works the luckier one gets, time will tell but not if he buggers off due to all the crap he receives from the tactically football inept in our fanbase.
  11. So! Lambert's off then, thought as much.
  12. I feel that after a very tired start he's now realising that one or two of the younger players are a wee bit more hungrier than he is. Today he was laying balls off for Guli ergo, he's taking a back seat. I'd lay him off for a few weeks, maybe bring him back for a coupl eof givens and then let him go for similar money to what we paid for him. Did a great job last time out but maybe he found his level and sadly we are now headed to a higher one. I'm gonna bore people with this mantra, but we should go and get Simeon Jackson imo.
  13. I feklt that the crap lino gave up towrd the end too. He was way behind play for most of the first half but second half he started off being ignored by d-urso so maybe he thought, oh well, f it i won;lt bother.
  14. Poor old Fergie, that's the second oap that Rooney's shafted.

  17. I remember when it first opened early 70's. The one and only time i shoplifted was from a shop there; a set of poker-dice! I am still ashamed to admit that but should add that my 'mate' put them in my pocket and made us run out, I couldn't set foot there again for years due to the guilt and shame. I once saw Don Estelle in the full Lofty gear, mic in hand hawking his album, a sad sight indeed.

  21. Cupcakes if people have been living under a rock for the past 12 months, are the in thing. BIG fancy cup cakes, people love them. £22 for 12 is the going rate I'd say. In fact, I know someone from Deal who has a stall in Chatham (Pentagon Centre selling them and they are usually all gone really quickly (they also sell trendy breads). For the posher poster there is always that massively overpriced cupcake shop opposite the castle.
