Over-30's needed for WorldNET tournament (under-30s now also required!!)
hamster replied to Minty's topic in The Saints
He was a handy and dependable player in his day, we used to complement each other really well with me running round like a headless chicken and him holding the ball up whilst us other posties piled forward. Actuyally if he says yes then I would go with (to protect him) It would not be the first time he's donned the old red and white stripes actually. When we first moved down this way I used to ride pillion with him to loads of matched down The Dell. I have told him on numerous occasions that just cos he was born in that ****-hole does not mean he has to support them. Playting for The saints might just be his chance to cross the floor. What is the accomodation, is it in dormotories? -
I may pop down and grab a few shovel-fulls this weekend. I have a few bare patches that won't respond to other methods I have tried, hopefully this will get to the root of the problem. My lawn will be a cut above the rest and sod what others think.

Would you like me to ask John if he's interested Minty? He is currently cycling JOG to LE, they finish on Friday so he may be up for a fresh challenge. Although much my senior he is clearly quite fit still. Does inclusion require participants to be proper Saints fans? I ask as he doesn't relly follow a football team as such, in fact he spent more time at St Mary's than he did at 'the other place' last season... atually I am confident in saying that he watched The Gills more, and he only went up to Priestfield twice. Didn;t even watch the Cup final!!! -
Don't rinse your filters in tap water, you'll lose all the benefit of the good things that thrive in them and actually benefit the fish tank environment. Just rinse gently them in some of the water that you are decanting.

Saw the post on the other thread Minty, flattered. Unfortunately I can't commit to anything that far ahead just now, but would have had to say no anyway as I am not a 'lad's lad' and Leeds city centre sounds too scary a place to get lost in, especially with my estuary/hog twangs. Oh and one other thing, I got a cramp walking up a hill in Winchester the afternoon. You'd be carying me in every sense of the word. Thanks again. -
I was thinking more of your usefullness at the Caen Hill flight tbh b. There'd be a shandy in it for you at the bottom lock gate.
-
you're doing it again b, stop being a naughty girl. --------------- hammer
-
You'll fit right in. Can you handle a windlass? Does mr tf's bio-chemistry skills stretch to helping landy and I to check if the Lock Stock's pipes need cleaning? There are a lot of pub's lines that I am duty bound to test over the next couple of years b, it's my way of 'giving something back' to society. fwiw, you know full well that you and mr tf are always welcome on any boat that I am skipper of.
-
Has he noticed any change to the plant's appearance? That might point towards or narrow the search.

What is so abnormal about a leather fetish? Anyway........... --------------- Leather = Saddle

What would you be 'bringing to the party' though b? Landy has his wit and wisdom (plus, he's a Mod). Would you be up for pumping my stern grease-tube perhaps? Or maybe you could do what mrs hamster does and sit in the cratch area necking Pinot occasionally coming astern with a cup of tea and a peck on the cheek? tbh, I am not sure why I take her with me, she's a bit of a liabilty when she's squiffy. Last time on the cut with 4 grandkids, our only Grand-daughter fell in whilst moored at Crick and whilst I threww my clothes off and dived in mrs h just popped her head up (glass in hand) and asked what all the screaming was for. "Nothing darling, just saving YOUR grandchildren's lives, carry on with what you were doing". "Oh alright, cup of tea anyone?" When a couple of days later a Grandson fell in, I lifted him out with a one arm superhuman lift. A neighbouring barjee (this was Braunston), lent him a towel to dry off. Got back to our boat and there she was again, feet up on the cratch, book in one hand, glass in t'other. She peered over the rim of her reading glasses and just said "Been swimming *****?", emptied her glass and held it out to me to refill it. Just writing this is actually making me have second thoughts about this crazy water gypsy idea!

Asked mrs h for an answer to that and she (obviously thicker than myself) replies 'it's a dinosaur ain't it?' went to a crap school did mrs h.
-
/\ demonstarting my thickness here, but does this fit with "extraneous"? -------------------------- Foreskin

I honestly never meant it to appear thus. It is actually a tower in Braunston which caught me eye recently. Not sure of it's history but I just like it. Also at Braunston is a lovely church steeple. Now that I can see the phallic aspect I shall change it forthwith and apologise for any a=offence caused to the fairer sex.

Awful.

I have a mid sized orange canister that I need to dispose of. Wouldn;t recomend doing the swap of regulators yourself but I'm assured that if you return it to calor they will do a straight swap for the proper one. Yopurs if you want it. PM me if so (Swaythling area).

Not watched such a moving account of war in a long time. Soldiers tears are the tears of a nation. Sombre moment for sure.

Ours is 63 foot. A M A T E U R AND we have both got our Helmsman's ceretificates. any time you need a lesson in how to handle a real boat PM me. Sereious note StL, I recently learnt how to reverse the bugger, as they say it's easy when you know ho, but I just studied the lads in our home marina and suddenly the penny dropped. I even got asked by a vet in Windsor to show her how to do it on Sunday but declined as I fully expected to balls it up...far too many gongoozlers for my liking. Exciting news to anyone who's interested actually, mrs h and myself are actively looking at narrowboats to live aboard atm. mrs is gonna officially retire and I'm gonna commute from Newbury. Can't wait and So excited. Susun Whistle, I thought you'd done canals in France? England (and wales if you include the Pontys****e) are the most colourful and historically important canals in the World, give them a try if you get cance.

Is that the one who you had trained as a gundog Dune? seems like yesterday, what did you call him in the end?
