    Away Kit

Friend reckons that when the new home kit vid was released, initially there was player in the new black with red sash shirt in one of the shots, which was quickly edited out but not beofre a few had picked up on it. FOAF (Friend Of A Friend) story I know, but as good as any other source on here.

    On The Pitch

Went on the pitch vs Leeds as my mate had peened the Rudi, Rudi, Rudi, Rudi song in the play-off year. Interviewed by Mike Osman and presented with a signed shirt from Garteh Bale (miserable sod). Got my grandson on with me too which was cool for him. When waiting we sat in the Leeds' dug-out on Dennis Wise's seat. He'd left his jacket on the back of the chair and it did cross my mind to try it for size or just simply nick it. Got to meet Mark and Stewart Dennis on the morning show (the brothers), in the match progamme and on both the OS and The Saint site. I was like a little kid tbh. V sad, I know.
  3. Come on Dune, yo know what nonsense that is mate. The poor are equally important. If one poor person dies another takes his place and this is the same for the wealthy. The 'real' money in today's World is not traceable to any proper country and we are so far removed from their World that it is not worth getting hot under the collar about. Your writings do however give me an idea, rahter than chop of her Maj's head why don;t we just tax her and her (OUR apparently) properties to the point where she buggers off abroad? Seriously Dune, I reckon that HM is the closest the likes of us will ever get to seeing how the real wealthy live and take the **** out of us. Globalisation, that is where it is at imho. IMHO it is better to be accepting of these things, otherwise we become court jesters for them. I was lambasted (albeit mildly) for not voting twice (thanks mrs hamster ;-) , she still doesn;t know) and told that I had no right to complain or comment even, when the dust settled. I prefer to think and believe that I do in fact have more right to complain, to those who voted for any party. It's you silly beggars that encourage them. I am actually considering becoming a 'passive anarchist' in the future. Not smashing windows of maccy D's and the like, which ironically these global's claw back through insurances which THEY own and WE pay for. They must be laughing all the way to THEIR banks. that is all. lord hamster
  4. Really! Thanks for bringing this to our attention sticksaint. In other news "Man lands on Moon"
  5. Oh that's nice dp. Exlude all of us who prefer to spend our hard-earned in the country where it was printed and not dish it out willy-nilly to Johnny Foreigner. btw, your carrier bag ramblings should (by law) carry a "don't be a silly **** and put this bag over your head - may cause death" warning I think. Anyawy, good luck with your silly little game, not as good an idea as the WC 2010 prediction league imho. ;-)
  6. Agent Capello clearing a path for Italy perhaps? Never trust Johnny Foreigner, short memories...the lot of them.

  8. That's another that regularly comes out well in the e-mails. They also sell LPG which used to be handy for my gas guzzling Range Rover. Incidentally, the road is called Thomas Lewis Way Interesting FACT alert!!! TLW was the scene of the UK's biggest ever street party. \\:D/:drinkers::supz::smt029:partyman::smt038:smt058:smt113:smt034:smt033:smt044 CORRECTION: Just checking my interesting facts knowledge base and Thomas Lewis way was in fact the scene of the WORLD'S LARGEST EVER street party!!
  9. I suspect his daughter used her parliamentary privilege.

  14. No pressure mods but there's a kick-about on this evening that would be a great one to start it off. I have already predicted the first 3 games correctly but am willing to forego the pints advantage in the interest of fair play.
  15. Nigeria persevering down the flanks might just nick one although I'd concentrate on the left back, he likes giving throw-ins away.. Maradonna seems to riding his luck too, if the officials tolerate too much nonsense I will be very dissapointed, shut him up and it should unsettle them on the field too.
  16. Hoping Nigeria change tactics a little and start ti rile them. Much as I admire the kind of qulity slick football that they are serving up atm, I want themn to struggle for two reasons; it will clear the path for England, Madonna's post match rantings. Let us not forget this little cracker: On second thoughts I would love it, absolutely love it if he lost the plot after we tonk them in the final. We can dream eh..
  17. Anyone else think that Madonna looks like a short fat Georgie Best?
  18. As per thread title can we have a prediction league set up before too many games are behind us. Obviously Id be rubbish at this sort of thing, predicting AND seting up, but I'm sure someone out there could do it. 1 point for predicting the result (win, draw etc) maybe 3 points for correct score?
  19. Prediction...3-3, both teams hungry to really kick the tournament off and both not best known for their defending prowess. Hoping for a cracker but fear (hope) that the cards will be out for the Argentinians ideally a red for Madonna ala nickh's.
  20. That could prove handy when the Alzheimers kicks in. When I get lost I'll phone you for directions....now where did I leave my phone???? Than ks also for puting a bit of two-tone into my head, hands off she's mine is playing as I type, brilliant sone and mirror in the bathroom up next.
  21. Velly clever phil, could we have a World Cup pun league?
  22. Rooney hat-trick, on his way to tournament's Golden Boot. USA? Not sure they have the World Cup menatlity tbh. In these tournaments it's not the end of the World if you falter at the start but if we beat them (and convincingly) their egos may not cope mentally as they are not used to coming second. Todays game is their final, but for us it's a good opportunity to get a bit more match firness ready for the games at altitude. 4-0 maybe 4-1.
