The biggest problem with organising a team is training and should it be a pre-requisite to getting a game? I know my limitations (I am not very good), but the last team I played for (or didn't as it happened) used to 'train' one evening a week. I duly went along, busted a gut and generally toed the line, match day arrives and guess what, Joe Golden********, who you only ever see on matchday, is playing and muggins gets to run the line yet (again). Funny in hindsight, but treating people like ****s when they just want to have a game of footie is naughty in my book. It's only a game. This is why I enjoy the SWF kickabout, it's just like the playground game; no real rules 2 captains picking teams, no offside, jumpers for goalposts and all that. I reckon Sunday against these kids is gonna be interesting, I wish you guys luck. -
Maybe there should be a campaign to have just a little bit of black in the union jack, after all..... Then we no-one could accuse anyone marching under it of being racist.

Spoiled the thread there, taking it back to Rowan ****in Atkinson.

I may be mistaken, but I think that these fellas (ALF) are responsible for more terrorising than islamic extremeists: http://www.animalliberationfront.com/

Serious question. How does the EDL propose to stop BNP members infiltarting their numbers? Not as in join the facebook group, but how will you stop them spoiling your marches? If you don't then your days are numbered I am afraid. Just look at how some are already making the associations.

Went to Beulieu last week, when I saw Mr Bean's mini, I wanted to key it I really did. Now that would have been funny.

Rowan Atkinson has never been funny, not never.

Insubordination. That's a big word mb. Is it gonna be the full 90 mins, and is it rush goalie?

Glad you're feeling better, it's not that clinical trial business I hope. Shame Mr tf is on nights though , do you get lonely bridgey? Forgive me being forward, but would he get suspicious if the not being able to talk for 3 days was followed by not being able to walk for a further 3 days? By the way, the tickets have now found a new home, thnaks awfully.
-
First time I have ever heard that expression, googled it and wish I hadn't, you take it easy bridgey.

Tell you what btf, I'll cancel tell my nephew I am poorly, take you to the cwicket, AND I'll get you flowers and choccies just for allowing me the pleasure? You up for it? Bonus we get 2 spare seats to spread out on!! Best take your motor, mine's a bit obvious, and I am guessing you drive something a bit more 'roomy' in the back.

Plus he helped us acquire the services of one of the best managers we never had (well, not here for long was he), in NP. And I understand from my sources that his contacts waived their fees to boot. Although the last bit is most likely not factually accurate.

I may well be able to show for this if you are really desperate, as the Andover tournament finishes at 3PM. I won't be lloffended if I'm too old, and out of interest my nipper thought you lot were 'well good' the other week, hence he won't be coming again. I was hoping to catch the end anyway, so I'll chuck the old predators and shinpads in the boot of the car just in case. Mike, could you post the currrent squad on the tope post please, just out of interest. -
Lawrie Mac managed the teams that gave me the most pleasureable time in my footballing life, and I missed '76 and '79. For that I would buy the man a beer. Just the one the one though, as I would expct him to stand his round just like any other 'decent bloke'. I wouldn't go out of my way to do so, but if ever he does have the pleasure of meeting me, I would like to put my 'decent bloke' theory to the test.

South Stoneham is one of the best routes into town without a doubt. Blue Star route 2 between eastleigh and city centre. UniLink routes to airport*, and both hospitals (direct) and again city centre. Regular trains from Swaythling station to parkway* (airport), Eastleigh, Salisbury and into city centre. * you can get to virtually anywheer in the country from parkway station, with FREE parking at weekends if you want to do a day trip to London. M27 just around the corner with 2 routes to get to it, great for avoiding rush hour traffic once you learn how to time it right. 2 routes to the M3, again it's down to time of day which one's best. Matchdays? Terrible traffic down Thomas Lewis Way, and a bit of a log jam around Bevois Valley, nd te level crossing in Empress Ind Ect. BUT, again, I can do it in 10-15 minutes usig my 'short cut'. Most games I pick up a friend in Hedge End and still see vehicles that I passed going the 'direct' route when I am turning into my road after dropping him home after. same applied when I lived in Regents Park, which imho is another nice area to live in but without the get out of town quick options. Just my two penneth.

I'm surprised that you haven't been approached to manage the 'home' team on Sunday to be honest. It's young 'uns against old crocks at Fleming Park.
