With you there ESB, have you ever looked into the Socialist party? I don't know much about them personally, maybe someone could set up their stall for them in this debate?

I.COM I wasn't here at the time of the East Street bomb, but it sounds pretty horrible time for you. I do hwoever remember as a kid laughing at Irish jokes and in particular ones about burning lips on bus exhaust ppes and the old pass the parcel one, but in my youthful ignorance/innocence thought nothing more of them than 'a laigh'. I hate to think how any of my irsish schoolmates must have felt. It must have been similar to how young people with any different background must feel nowadays. Sadly, some of our less cleverer friends grew up to perpetuate these 'jokes' into their adult thinking and never realised that the joke is actually on them now. After all a bully by any other name is still a bully. Same **** different minority group. Maybe they should change their name to the EDL Extremist Defence League, in an efort to defend their own extreme thinking?

I was going to do that, but wondered if the said virus could attach itself to the mailout?

/\ I firmly believ that groups like the BNP, EDL and the old NF actually made the problem worse. And I DO NOT mean immigration being 'the problem', I mean the problem of people not liking 'us'. This subject has been at the front of my thoughts this week actually. Last tuesday was the 20th anniversary of this: http://www.kentonline.co.uk/east_kent_mercury/news/2009/september/22/deal_bombing_anniversary.aspx Watch the video and try to imagine how I was feeling watching it. My Dad is ex-Royal Marines bandsman, he trained at that barracks, I was born around the corner froim that barracks. Imagine how the families of those young men that died felt on Tuesday. Are people on here seriously telling me that if we had spat hatred and sung disgusting songs about the IRA and set up a facebook group of likeminded people to run all Irish people (oh sorry, just the extremists LOL) from 'my' country back to 'where they came from', that it would have stopped the IRA and their terror campaign. NO, it would not, and listen to the bit at the end, where the narrator says how the rememberance of the event has actually brought about a new sense of community in the town. Go to Deal, stand in front of the bandstand, maybe take in a concert sat in a deckchair licking an ice-cream, and while you are sat ther have a think, have a long hard think and think what a bunch of ****ing idiots the BNP the EDL and all their mates are. Ignorant, stupid idiots. But you won't see me trying to disrupt their marches, they are actually the best advert for normal people to not join that there could ever be. Well done.

Need advice again please, as this problem has escaletd. I had a friend tell me that they have had an e-mail from ME this time, and now my mrs has just got one from one of her friends saying the same thing. I am gatting really worried and am at a loss. I've run a couple of scans, but this seems to be hidden really well. Can I add that all the e-mails seem appear to come from (for example) my e-mail address, but whe they are opened my auntie's e-mail appeasr in the 'from' line! Note: My Dad uses his browser to e-mail, I use the windows live app, my wife uses both web and windows live app. This is the header from the one that was sent from mrs h's account: .hmmessage P { PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; MARGIN: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px } BODY.hmmessage { FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana } From: my wife's name [mailto:my wifes addy] Sent: 22 September 2009 06:02 To: alchemist68(at)hotmail(dot)co(dot)uk (no idea who this is) Subject: dont forget I just want to say, a best gift place for Christmas,it is www(dot)popone(dot)info-,it is gorgeous and cheap price,go to look, honey!!! *bits in blue edited by me

Alf ramsey went on to do quite well after playing for us. Plus we nicked him from Pompey so would be nice.
-
He's 11 on the 8th, and he loves doing the 3der der der der der der der der, Blue and White Army" that we did from the moment we arrived at Wembley to the moment we got home, in fact he was singing it to me when i dropped him off on the Sunday night. This is the one: http://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/gillingham-chants/blue-and-white-army-with-sound/ He will not sit quietly, he was not brought up to sit quietly.

Holy ****. that's not good at all. Lets' NOT get like them eh!! Let's try to be nicer to each other and have a bit more faith in the intelligence services to sort out the extremists who threaten our society and our values. All of us that is. Fronting up to them in the street will only serve to make heir argument look more convincing when they are enlisting imho. "Them bloody English, listen to their chanting, see their hatred of us, you are not like them, you must join the fight with us" "Yeah, makes sense to me, where do I sign"? Well done EDL/BNP, well done indeed. Do they know what a self fulfilling prophecy is?

/\ that's the one, my mistake. TV owned 'scribes' nightclub, I think? I could be wrong, it has been known.

I took my two eldest Grandsons to the Bayern Munich game when they were both 5 years old. They probably don't remember but I also took the opportunity to let them know about Ted Bates as it was the inaugral Ted Bates Trophy match. One of them moved to Kent 3 years ago and during one phone call, he tentatively told me that he didn't want to support saints anymore cos all the other kids in his new school kept saying how rubbish they were. I asked who he wanted to support and he said Chelsea OR Man united!!! I explained that his new classmates were right in that Saints were rubbish at the time, but he wanted to fit in and make friends so i asked him to always have saints as his second team. I then explained how Grandad (me) was brought up in Gillingham and grew up a Gills fan until 1980, when I moved down here and converted to Saints. He asked me if Gillingham were any good? What could I say? Gillingham will never be as good as Saints I told him, but you will have lots of other Gills fans at school to make friends with. A good compromise was reached and I took him to his first Gills match last season, a horrible match against Barnet (my Skate/Gills supporting brother in tow). Gills pushing for an automatic spot, Gillingham were terrible, but I taught him a few Gillingham songs like 'Molly Malone', bought him a Gills shirt and resigned ourselves to the fact that they might just get to Wembley - they did. He stayed with us for the weekend and I took him to the Wembley and what an amazing day we had. Last minute Simeone Jackson winner, and met a few Pompey fans at Fleet who chatted with him assuming us all to be Giklls, I soon put them straight on that though. Unfortunately his dad won't take him to footie so he has so been looking forward to next weeks game as his other Grandad (lifelong Gills fan) was going to bring him down and we were going to meet up before and after. He can't bring him for health reasons now though so I am faced with a dilemma. I've solved the first part of the problem as I've taken the day off to pick him up next Friday, but he insists that he wants to go in with the Gills fans, and is adamant that he is wearing his Gills shirt. I really don't know what to do now though, I couldn't risk him cheering them on in the Itchen and I certainly don't fancy going in with the Pikey Army, much as I do love them, Saints are my first team, and we need the points more than them anyway. Bloody football!

Could it be possible, that during negotiations for the takeove, the new owner felt duty bound to not shaft anyone who was owed money or had any agreements with the old Plc? That would be so refreshing wouldn't it. On the bus thing, I appreciate that the current coaches can stow wheelchairs, but that still alienates those who need to use a powered chair or who can't manage steps. The club has a good relationship with their disabled supporters and they should rightly be applaudede for it. Disability awareness still has a long way to go, but the biggest hurdle is often acknowledging that improvements can be made. Re-introducing a disabled fans co-ordinator would be a big step in the right direction. Shauna taylor was immense.

When I played in that forum match thing there were FOUR generations of hamsters in the stands, I was moved.

Seriously Colin if you'd asked me yesterday I could have got you this for £50 It's a panasonic ls85 which is supposed to be a very good bit of kit which retails at anything up to £100. I had the thing iin my hand today but due to money being tight I had to let it go. I know the bloke had a couple to sell plus some nice Sony 10MP ones, I could ask him when I see him next week but can't be sure as it was a steal. Pardon the pun, they are not stolen.
