Why do some people rub the stuff into their gums? I have seen that in films and don't get it. No web links pls I prefer hearing from the horses mouth. Also, what is it like to take, is it a 'high' a 'buzz' do you halucinate, can you get downers? I thought it was used as a party drug to enhance sexual pleasure, but as I said earlier, I have never been that close to it.

Probably over tired from the long drive.

Just read that, cheers, but my question was more along the lines (pardon the pun) of what are people on here's (or their friends;)) experiences of using it. Sorry to sound a bit thick it's just that I have obviously moved in the wrong circles. I did used to enjoy a bit of puff now and then though, but having quit the fags 18 months ago, I found that having a 'smoke' made me want a fag again and that is something that simply ain't gonna happen.

Serious question, what's it like?

I have not a clue what you are on about, sorry. All I know is that the Spitfires are going to raid a few points from the Sparrows next year.

My old Nan used to 'buy' warts off of people, I am told that it actually worked. She is sadly not with us anymore, but you could ask your own Nan to do same, I expect she will have heard of this method. Alternatively BTF might offer if you ask her nicely.

Have you tried Dial-A-Ride cam? I know that they run at least one bus from door to door on matchdays, but it would be a good move if the club could introduce their own scheme or even subsidise Dial-A-Ride to run more services. Here's their contact info: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/people/easyread/transport/tguide20.asp Incidentally, I was up at Andover New Street's ground yesterday for their 'inclusive' football tournament. Saints entered 2 senior teams and 1 junior team. A very enjoyable day watching grass roots football played in the true spirit of the game. But on the transport side I was surprised that 'we' all travelled by car, bus, train and taxi! Even more surprised when the Bournemouth crowd pulled up in their club coach, very impressive, and well done for providing it when their purse strings are a bit tight.

Going by what I saw this afternoon at the open session, we may not be singing any songs with his name in them for some time. He looked quite weak and lethargic. His shooting was dia, apart from a couple of close range mi****s that went in. I would describe his style as 'dainty'.

Hi, just started to trawl through my programme collectionand over the next few weeks hope to get most of them up on E-Bay. ALL will start at just 10p. I'll also add some other miscellany such as Last game at The Del Shirt, '76 autographs, press photos, '76 cufflinks etc, as and when I get around to it. Please n ote that the current items don't have postage discounts applicable, but I will correct that and it will be just 25p per each additional item. Happy Bidding http://shop.ebay.co.uk/freewebtv/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg==

I believe that Ruth Ellis' crime was that of a cuckquean (sp), but in France it's known as 'crime passionnel'. However I have never killed anyone in France, so can't say for sure. Wiki knows the answers in my experience.

Even Albert Pierrepoint, her executioner changed his tune eventually: "I have come to the conclusion that executions solve nothing, and are only an antiquated relic of a primitive desire for revenge which takes the easy way and hands over the responsibility for revenge to other people...The trouble with the death penalty has always been that nobody wanted it for everybody, but everybody differed about who should get off." And there you have it, even those in favour can not agree who should hang, some of us who oppose it would conside rit for killers of our loved ones. He wanted to be an executioner (like his father and Uncle) from the age of 11, 11 ffs. He had a change of heart after hanging a man who he had drank with in his local, they sang Danny Boy together, then the chap went out and in a drunken state murdered his two-timing girlfriend! Crime of passion, a hanging offence?

Just out of interest, who was the last person to suffer the death penalty in Britain, and what was the crime?

That's where 'Toomers' gets his name I do believe, didn't realise they'd been advertising there for so many years.
